Clare overcame Waterford today in the Gaa Munster Hurling Championship in a brilliant game. Mark Rogers scored a controversial 65 with the last puck of the game to give Clare the win.

Was it actually the correct call? Regardless, the GAA’s got to get serious about umpiring. The days of bringing a few boys you know with you to officiate a game at this level should be over. Umpires are so crucial but generally so inactive. You can tell he doesn’t know and is between two minds but he makes the risky and ambitious call instead of playing it safe. Players sacrifice so much to be there. The lads show up and put a white coat on and decide these games often. Bizarre approach.

Watched rte footage they’ve a camera directly there showing it was flicked out by th4 Waterford CB. Don’t know why GAA Twitter is crying over a correct decision

Clear 65. Amazed they gave it. Dont know if the crying was about the 65 being moved a foot in. I think every time ive ever seen a free or line ball taken in 40 years that happens! The ball flies over so it doesnt make the slightest difference.

It was absolutely 100% the correct decision. Something has to be done alright - something done about apes like that poison dwarf Fitzgerald confronting and abusing refs for making correct decisions.

Connor cleary is a liability at full back for clare. He needs to be taken out of there or clare will win nothing. IT was a 65 it went of a waterford player but Clare were very Luvky today.

If they gave him a hurley it would help😂....hes actually improved a lot the last 2 years, but i think teams dont target him properly. Waterford did today and roasted him. Just drag him out the field and turn him. The whole full back line and GK is fragile to be fair.
