End of story,” Rep. Jasmine Crockett tells Melissa Murray, in for Ali Velshi. “Nobody gets this kind of money and isn’t influenced in any way.” They’re joined by Michael Waldman, President and CEO of the Brennan Center for Justice, who points out that Thomas represents the fringe who have now “become the mainstream on this court.”

The owners of America are proud of their achievements. 18% of the country elects 52 senators so 82% of Americans with 48 senators will not be heard. 14.5% elects 41 senators so 85% who wanted the bumpstock ban don't stand a chance against Phil A Buster, and 59 senators. The whole QAnon children harvesting is a projection because school kid massacres make money for the gun makers and campaign donations for the GOP. The fact is that America is in a constant state of election campaigning and has been since 1865. This means that Electioneering has become an embedded industry in the U.S. economy. Being an industry, it requires vast amounts of money to perform its functions. This is unfortunate but true. Judges should be chosen by the legal system, not by political parties. It still offends me that the first question they are asked is « do you believe in god? ». It should be « will you uphold the rule of law in fairness and human decency? ».

Even if the legal system makes these decisions there will still be politics involved. That's the problem. The legal system could also deliver a corrupt lobsided court because today politics plays out in our legal system too. It sucks don't it? Where are all of the patriots? It means we all need to be brave and start considering a bottom-up re-design of democracy. The Founding Fathers were smart enough to foresee the need for it beyond incremental amendments. Creative use of the internet means we could eliminate so-called 'representative' government and create _direct_ representation of ourselves - self-representation. After all isn't it all about individualism and individual freedoms these days? Government 'representatives' - at all levels - stopped actually 'representing' _us_ a long time ago more especially since Citizens United. We know that *between us all* we have the overall smarts and the open-ended platform of the net - for collaborative Open Source systems design, tech design and systems security - to support anthropologically designed local communities to thrive within their local life-support niche. Look up the 70yr old *Mondragon* 'cooperative of cooperatives' to see what awesome things can be achieved......

I wish they would put on every ballot in every state this question. Should there be term limits and age limits on members of the Supreme Court? Some of them are "politically tainted" , that goes against everything the SC was designed for. Some of them are politically biased and they hold too much power to change or alter laws.
