Hammer needs some points deducted for holding. Referee is blind
@fastpray3535 күн бұрын
Like seriously that’s all she did the whole fight hold and send those light taps during holding in effort to get points. Used body weight and kept holding Clarissa arms and even with all her reach she kept getting Cold blasted by Clarissa dead in the face!! Only time she got hits was when Clarissa was winded from catching her so much so fast!

Claressa is the GWOAT right now -- but to really earn that title for "All Time," she still needs a "Joe Frazier" to stand up to her, bring out the very best she has, and test her deepest strength and resillience. I'm sure she can rise to the challenge, but it has to be there. So far, her opponents haven't come close to that.

Shields is the Mike tyson in female version, but credit and salute to hammer because its only a few men who would have continued to the end with the odds being 100% against you and the punches being that accurate and heavy.
@user-vw6bk4pb4l14 сағат бұрын
Sheilds is a combination of many great boxers. She is intimidating and dominant, but she doesn't knocked out anyone so quite different from Tyson, as he's best known for his power. Along with being a well rounded fighter, I think her mentality is her biggest strength, that's why she's called the GWOAT. I've never ever seen her crumble under pressure, always 100% composed and focused, and always in control. Got knocked down by Hanna Gabriels in the round 1, had zero impact on her, in fact only increased her momentum.

I never allowed any of my sons I trained Boxing to spar with a female. I didn't like the idea of a man punching on a woman. I see the importance though of a woman knowing how to defend themselves with mind and hands, and being a son and nephew of strong women, and watching in the 70s an abusive man putting their hands on my aunt, Ill just say, it was a sight I and my cousins will never forget.

@user-vw6bk4pb4l14 сағат бұрын
They know how to fight, most if not all of her opponents have titles. Christina Hammer a was 24-0 undefeated world champion. This was only Claressa's 9th fight, and she's fought all the best fighters in 3 weight classes. It's not that they are bad, she's just too good for them. Its also mental, Claressa's skills, self confidence, composure and boxing IQ make most of her opponents crumble.

@@robertmonroe7168 Laila Ali is overrated. She never even fought all the best fighters of her time. No one would know her if she was not Ali's daughter, same way other great fighters of that era like Anne Wolfe and Rijker are not as popular. She's top 5 all time but not even in contention for number 1. Claressa has fought only the best fighters in 3 different weight classes, and won lifetimes more titles and medals than Laila. She's even gone to MMA because there's no one left to fight. And considered dropping 4 weight classes, just for the challenge. And the funniest part? Laila Ali was considering coming out of retirement to fight Claressa Sheilds a few years ago, which says it all. She is the real deal, the prize and even Laila knows it. Being mentioned in the same sentence let alone in the ring with her is money and clout.

@user-vw6bk4pb4l14 сағат бұрын
Where is your evidence of that? In fact Claressa has an extremely low K.O. rate she punches far less harder than the average female fighter. The gap is with boxing IQ, skills and mentality. Also she has never failed a drug test, and will not do any fights unless both do voluntary drug testing before and after the fight. Stop hating and give respect when it's due. They said the same about Serena Williams and yet it was Sharapove caught doping lol
