There have been ongoing discussions about the ISL sign for "Patna," which was circulated via the social media channels of ISH Shiksha. In response, ISH News is making a statement to clarify that we never create any ISL signs without first consulting with the original Deaf residents of Patna to ensure accuracy. The name of the Deaf resident who provided the sign remains anonymous to protect them from potential accusations of sharing an incorrect sign with ISH. As of now, we have removed the video post from social media. We are awaiting further clarification from the Deaf residents of Patna to establish a consensus on the ISL sign, and we will adhere to their guidance.
