For me the sound he obtains is perfect , he follows the authentic sound discovered after manufacture by expert clarinet player in Salzburg of replica clarinets from drawings of the clarinet used by Mozart’s friend, virtuoso Anton Stadler. The strings also are aware of how to match their playing in the slower , thoughtful , gentle representation of what Mozart intended at the time .

The Poulenc is so hauntingly beautiful. My all-time favorite clarinet piece. Your interpretation is a joy to listen to. Breathtaking!

Those phrases that the clarinetist paints with his flexible tone. Woww reminds me of masters such as Walter Boeykens and Gervase de Payer.
