Never seen a poor old overworked forklift cry until today. "Why won't they leave me alone ? I just want to rust in peace." Tony's a great machinist, I think he's just no good in front of a camera. How people behave when there's a camera on them is completely different to how they are in person. Jeff shines in front of the camera that's why his videos are not only informative but entertaining. Tony, on the other hand, will do you a killer job on a water pump (and what ever else he does) but he wouldn't want you to watch him do it. Jeff wouldn't get anywhere near ME with his camera, I hate being watched when I work. If I ever did a video of what I do, I would only shoot my hands and then I'd use one of those computer generated voices because I can't stand the sound of my own voice. Thanks for a fun twelve and a half minutes.

I'm exactly the same! It's not many photos of me as young and no recordings of my voice, today whit all cameras everywhere I try to be used to being footed...

This video made me laugh, Tony is definitely a machinist not a mechanic or forklift operator, I've never seen an old Continental squirt gas out of the head gasket that was a first lol. I thought your old 3/4 ton was done for the old trucks are tough that forklift has got to weigh at least 5 ton.

Some people should never drive lift trucks: Tony is one of those people. He has great machinist skills, but his driving skill with that monster looks more like demolition derby. I hope you are going to load and unload on the return trip. Scary, but fun, to watch.

Oh Man that fork lift should of got a 1 way ticket to china about 10 years ago, we had one a bit newer than that where I worked 14 years ago, that was a similar performance to do anything with it. The loading ended better than I figured though, At that speed I thought it was going to hit the trailer head board/pipe, stop real sudden with tony getting the steering wheel in the chest. Break the truck frame in half with all the weight on it and the fork lift was going to drop through the floor and sit on the trailer frame rails. I guess the duals saved it L.O.L. Man that was a fun video you 2 make a real funny show when Tony comes out to play !

7:00 : yep, she was kinda full. Rear wheel steering can be a pain to get accustomed to. I thought I was doing fine in my forklift ticket test, until I looked behind and realised I had knocked over like 5 cones. I like those old ww2 Airport tugs. These bunch of p51 and other ww2 fighter plane pylon racers from Reno restored one and put a small block chevy in it, looked (and sounded) really cool!
@waynep3437 жыл бұрын
Magnets stuck to the bottom or side of the fuel tank will keep any Red dUST attracted to them and keep it out of the needle and seat in the carb.. prevent flooding.. just don't ever move them.. you will scatter all the Red dUST thru the fuel line.. 1990 ford ranger fuel filters can be used with either 5/16 fuel hose or 3/8 fuel hose.. and are 10 micron elements and capture the sediment and have enough filter media to prevent quick clogging except in the worst cases.. edit.. must recall to bring a tree trunk with you that has several notches in it to go under the trailer tongue near where the side rails come together.. so the truck is not exposed to this kind of excessive frame bending load ever again..

It exists much bigger ones I would love to see! The harbor trucks in Umeå shoveled snow with buckets big enough to hold two cars! And how fast they drove, I don't know for sure, but they claimed 70 Km/h! No idea what they could lift but guaranteed well over 20,000 Kg! We had a restaurant in the harbor area that used to be a passage to the ferry to Finland, too bad it was before the time of mobile cameras! Would have otherwise had a lot of nice videos from that time...

As I wrote in my comment I might have been able to if only the steering was much better When I put the fourth gear in I was about 70 Km/h and no gas! The fifth gear should have been horrific fast! It was a Volvo truck diesel engine in it and probably the same thing with the gearbox with no hydraulic, just manual directly can't really remember what sorts of brake system it had...
