The show actually does a really good job at encapsulating Superman and is a good representation of the character. This is Bizzaro, by this point he had let the fame of being hero get to his head and because of this he neglected his family at basically every corner. This is Bizarro World though and this Superman is a 24/7 celebrity and an addict. He's straight up using the responsibility as an excuse for how he doesn't want to balance the fame HE BROUGHT TO HIMSELF with his family life. He even gave up his secret identity before he even had kids. Half the time he's suited up is for interviews, red carpets and photoshoots, not saving people. So I guess he just might be able to let slide a cry for help or two... Lois is in the right in this scene, because this Clark hasn't been a hero in many many years now... And when he does happen to be saving people is mostly for clout, only regretting his ways when he's way off the deep end with his Kryptonite addiction (in his world a power-up) and close to the end of his universe when Crisis on Infinite Earths strikes his world and he's retconned into Clark's Earth

It would have been suitable for a normal family where people are sometimes unhappy because of arguments, financial problems, etc. Not for a dysfunctional family where one partner is never around. Lois is not absent. And she is not the one who forgets that she has responsibilities for the family. As she said, they were the people that needed him. She didn't agree to him being constantly away, he doesn't need to do so to save people. He chooses to because he takes his family for granted.

No...watch the show. First this ain't Superman, this is Bizarro. Second, this bizarro was more concerned with fame/image than saving lives. He let a man fall to his death because he was taking a pic with fans (his son stepped in to save the man but he was only a few feet away and Bizarro ignored it) Third, he is the opposite of Clark. He was controlling, hostile, doing drugs and having the equivalent of roid rages. He was so controlling that he got upset and disciplined his son when his son saved someone without his permission. (Wasn't anything dangerous just stopped 2 trucks from crashing into eachother) Fourth, he was neglecting them in favour of parties, autographs, galas etc. She was asking him to stop that. To stop the unneeded stuff. The video cuts off before she could explain herself. She wanted him to stop the celebrity stuff and the drugs.

Well, for some, being a superhero is a responsibility. Superman can literally hear people suffering, calling out to be saved, and you want him to ignore that & spend time. He can't. He's the world's hero. There will be sacrifices. Yes it's sad but you can't have one or the other. And for the reverse time, go read some Flash comics and see how that turned out for him. Never solves anything, just makes it worse.

So if your such a high status man I would assume some level of competence and intelligence to think ahead, don't propose if you can't balance both. Sometimes, you have to choose the lesser of two evils, which cause the less amount of pain. It's rarely fair for some heroes or some are lucky not to have to make such a choice.

Her sons couldn't stand up to Bizarro because of how powerful he is to the point he even controlled what his son called himself when he became a hero (basically forcing this Jon's hero name to be what he decides) and controlling how his son is depicted by media without much input from Jon, even speaking over him to assert his own authority. He also got angry when Jon saved someone without his permission. Would you be able to stand up to your father who could crush you like an insect? Jon eventually joined up with villains and ran away because the villain gave him attention that he never got from Bizarro.
