Surely you know this is all staged, ya? They already had cameras set up amongst the military as the cars rolled in. Any time you see a shot from outside the car, that means the shoot has been prearranged.

Really? I mean, I expect much of this to be staged anyway. I thought they might've had permission before hand too, ideally something the producers should've sorted out I did think it was so odd the military wouldn't question some random 3 cars coming in with !!cameras!!, odd for sure.

Olavsvern naval base was closed in 2009 and sold by the norwegian government in 2013, privately owned today and is used by both civillians and government, but they have a longterm deal with the government and nato.

just in case this s gone unnoticed - "Love the show but somebody needs to get a bollocking over the continuity lately.. in scandi flick we can see that some shots have Martini and 'Martin' (edited by Jeremy ) stickers visible during the race between the 'Quatro' and 'Impreza' in the snow..... there's been some issues visible with recent masive hunt episode as well with Hammond's RS - FURY plates were introduced before given to Richard by the Clarkson.. Thanks for the shows - all of em ( Oh Cock ( i know it's actually oh cook :) ) , Cog and the Farm, Love you all and thanks for the hours of entertainment )... but .. please sort out the continuity... bit distracting after multiple viewing sessions... or is it a dig at the show and presenters aging ? :) Happy holidays / Christmass to all Grand Tour and RH/JC/JM Supporters and Family. I heard Hammond say back when this special was about to release that they had already finished filming another special. Seeing as it's already been about three months since A Scandi Flick came out, the other one should be ready. But knowing these guys we probably won't see it until summer next year after May's next "Our Man In ... " and Clarkson's "Clarkson's Farm."

I know an episode idea that would probably get a lot of fun reactions especially from Jeremy. An episode dedicated to finding the best electric car. And as we know, Jeremy doesn’t like electric cars. So this episode would basically be his version of hell. I really think they should do that. I would love to see these guys driving things like, one of them in some version of a Tesla. One of them in the electric car from BMW and then another one could be in I don’t know one of those new electric trucks.
