@@MasterShake1G It really isnt though. 1) The evidence must be collected through the officers on scene to show up on the VR. 2) The evidence alone is not enough to stick anyone on a charge, there must be other evidence other than shot weapons to tie them to the scene (as coyote was saying the 'hot potato gun' thing is an alarming issue) If anything this is a balancing tool that should be used more often, it would've helped K's case with the first time he was arrested. This is a tool that is specifically that, a tool. It doesn't give any added advantages to the PD other than not having to screenshot 400000 times. I don't get why we're fine with anecdotal statements from potential crims over discharged shots/GSR tests/DNA tests when this was a major sour spot a few months prior.

He didn’t do anything though lol. The PD knew who was involved as soon as the evidence was collected. They put out warrants for K, Ramee and Peanut 30 minutes after the shooting. The dude wasted probably 10 hours investigating a case that was solved 30 minutes after the fact.

people saying VR is OP. yes VR is OP. That is only the case when people actually take their time to investigate. The cops are literally given everything to investigate in 4.0. They literally have no reason to lose any court case. I'm actually impressed with cayote's work LMAO. he's not going off OOC info. he can literally explain everything with all the data he has about blood and casings. bro put in hours to put everything together.

I see your point, but I see this VR potentially becoming a problem in the future, when PD will likely have more manpower and resources to run these sort of investigations regularly. It is OP and there is no way to counter its power at the moment. All it takes is being hit during a shootout to have your blood sample next to some casings, and suddenly you can get a warrant for every incident involving that gun, even if you managed to escape every time.

I wouldn't even call it OP tbh, but definitely a very effective tool. Just to clear things up for people that don't know, the VR doesn't just automatically show them everything on the scene. They still have to collect all the evidence from the crime scene for it to show up in VR. VR mostly just visualizes the scene in a much better way, rather than taking 100+ screenshots.

yeah i dont see it as OP at all, its an incredibly powerful tool for investigations, yes, but thats where the usefulness ends, it would be incredibly hard to prove any of what they've learnt in court, it helps them build a narrative and push forward more investigations, but nobody gonna get charged over some VR shit alone.

I watch a lot of cops and never see anyone use it. Everyone else just slaps the hot gun charges on the people and says bring it to court even though the evidence doesn't point to them.

This investigation is DOPE. IF PD needs to collect the evidence for it to show up in VR then it seems okay but if they don't then it is broken AF. To balance this out crims should have a way to remove DNA or pick up casing/projectiles.

The evidence in vr is only evidence they collected and put in the evidence locker. So if they miss stuff on scene its not in vr or if they don’t put everything in the locker which sometimes happens it wont be there either. It doesn’t tell them anything they couldn’t learn from looking at the evidence pictures and scene but it’s just is better for efficiency and safety because cops can’t stay on scene to look up every casing and stuff because they would get robbed or shot down(which happens when coyote went to get more evidence actually speedy came by and wrenched them from his bike)

I don't think there is any issue with this feature but I would like to see a few more options for crims in terms of cleaning up evidence before it is being used on a wide scale so it contributes to interesting RP for both crims and cops.

This case wasn’t solved with VR. PD found K, Ramee and Peanuts blood on the scene immediately after the shooting, and issues warrants on them. All Coyote and VR did was show him where they were standing, but that also could be pieced together by the blood and castings.

I thought it had to be documented until he said he went back 2 days later to look for evidence which is kind of powerful ha It is pretty cool that they can put everything together to visualize the scene but I think they should have to physically find the evidence and submit it in order for it to show up in vr

Great police work and the VR tool is great to help expedite the process a bit and replay the whole scenario, but going back days after is what I have an issue with. In most crime scenes, not all, you dont have the chance to go back day later and collect more evidence. I see in some scenes you could rationalize going back days later and collecting samples, yes, but specifically this outdoor crime scene, no.

Honestly thats good detective work but its also very broken that they can move around like that. I hope they change it and make it more difficult for them so they can make it a bit more intresting and fun to do detective work. yes, but when you are in a shootout, and your casings are right next to your blood on file, and projectiles that match those casings end up where officer's who got shot down's blood and casings from shots are, you are more than likely the guy shooting. VR is just broken.

That is not OP at all, and it's the job of the defense to pick apart the timeline Coyote has made and sow doubt in the jury/judge All he did was pick up evidence. I appreciate the work put in by Cayote but the VR stuff needs to go. No way in the world should that be used in this way lol... wasnt aware that we were RPing Minority Report. My question is: yes, he sees the blood and casings, but they are in two entirely different locations. So how do you make the connection that they were the ones in the previous locations that had the casings once there is no blood tying them to that spot. You can prove they were there in general - but cant prove they were the ones that shot.
