I lived there 8 years while hubby stationed at Ft Campbell. Very flat land, most homes had tornado shelters in their yards. Glad I live by the Appalachian mountains now

If anyone wants to do the midwest I can fly into chicago o’ hare, take a same-day car drop off and meet you somewhere in illinois. Thats a starting point. Although NY and Penny is more convenient for me given that toronto borders NY, I doubt much tornado activity is there. Illinois sounds like a start so someone holler at me and lets plan this.

WTF is a violent tornado?!?! Does it have a bad attitude and going to pull knife and get violent? Lol! I understand saying a large tornado. Even a dangerous tornado, but not violent. Everybody knows tornados do damage, but I'm pretty sure they are not out for violence....

There's a technical definition of a "violent" tornado. It's one that receives an EF4 or EF5 damage rating. That being said, all tornadoes are violent when they're chewing up people's homes and property.
