Painting company which provides services to automotive plant, didn`t have work and was closed. Employees didn`t start strike on the square with banners, but offered their hands to the city.
250 workers agreed to paint recreational facilities and benches, fences and playgrounds, to work at boarding school and maternity hospitals. This idea was supported during collective meeting of the company. Employees-volunteers will receive 2/3 of a monthly salary.
Plant has downtime and employees are working improving public welfare. Cherkassy car painting company is out of work for 2 months In order not to lose 250 specialists and to keep collective unity company involved its employees in social project with compensation 2/3 of monthly salary. Now Cherkassy will surely blossom.
We decided to support our city with all our employees and resources, - says Stefan Lilienkamp, Managing Director of the company. We can`t change the world, but we can make it more colourful!
Patients of a Regional Hospital, expectant mothers in Maternity Hospital and inhabitants of Cherkassy Regional Children's Home will be first to feel life colour change. Next stage - parks, fences, benches and even trolley bus.
Of course, we have a lot of work, - says employee-volunteer. But also we should support initiative and take part in such charity actions. Moreover in such difficult time for all of us.
City is very excited about such social projects. If not benefactors, as officials say, they would never do to public welfare of some facilities this year because of shortage of money.
We gave job 250 workers. - expains Cherkassy Deputy Mayor. I think city may find work for four times more employees. And all will get work.
Such type of projects company implemented in Germany. And company hopes that all other companies not having work will support initiative.
