Think of this as the action version of Losing My Identity. To be honest that is one of my worst works, mediocre at best and boring at worst. So i had to do it again and get it right this time just like i did with Mistral's remix. This remix is called Clashing Identities and i used both the demo and official voice lines so i like to think of it as the two version of Sam the past and the present that is fighting Raiden clashing with one another during the fight.

Hey my man! I loved your original remix of this song, but this was mind blowing! I'm curious what the instrument at the start was before the drums. Was that from the synth or guitar instrumental? And man, I love how it starts out with the drums, it's so good for the start of the fight. Then the transition at 0:32 from the scream to the instrumental was just nailed so perfectly. The song coming in full-force after the "Let's Dance!" is such a nice touch. The mid section was really lovely and creative, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I love the added voicelines in songs like these. My one complaint is the lyrics at 3:28 sound like they have a voice crack in them. At first I thought it was just an audio glitch, but since it happened three times I assume it was intentional. It could have been executed a bit better (It works really well at 3:40 though). And the ending was genuinely phenomenal. The drums quietly creeping in was so nice. Anyways, yeah, loved both this and the original! You're definitely improving. Cheers man!

Hey man. Nice to see you. Thanks for watching and listening as always. The start before the drums was a very specific part of the synths used for the song i thought i made a nice intro. As for the effect at 3:28 it was an intentional glitch split effect i did with the vocals. Took me some time to learn. But i thought it was a nice since it would make it feel like Sam was actually Losing his Identity... like he is losing control and going insane. Anyway i wanted to make a more action packed version than the original one since it mostly suffered from the same problems as the first one i for Mistral's theme. Basically i focused too much on synth and used too many voice lines which really limited what i could actually do. Anyway i got more of these coming your way. Since a personal friend of mine was unsatisfied and demanded i redo The Stains of Time and Red Sun again so i will upload them too. I might also give Collective Consciousness another try we'll see. @@smokingmirror8482 I know the last version of this remix was more voiceline focused. I know not everyone likes that and it's very niche, but I'm personally a big sucker for songs like that, so I really enjoyed that one. This one is an improvement by all means, I'm just saying the last one was neat too depending on one's taste. Honestly not sure what your friend was unsatisfied with, Stains of Time and Red Sun turned out really great. But I'm still excited to see what you'll cook up in the future for them. Have a good one.
