This is the best ever Pre Trip inspection from ANYONE on KZfaq!! Very thorough, explanatory, slow and points the parts out. A HUGE Thank you goes out to the instructor for taking his time and is not trying to auction the truck off. Some people actually want to pass their CDL test...... the first time. I just love this truck it is so beautiful inside and out!! Hot off the press!! This is the proper way of doing a Pre-Trip! A breath of fresh air!! I cannot thank you enough because for some of us that learn with visuals!! I need to come drive for this company!!!!

I am currently in my 3rd week of training at Wilson Logistics and I wish Justin was still at the pad. The trainers they have now are nowhere near this detailed and clear, they are decent though.

I have been keeping My eye's on Wilson Logistics for a while. I Like this guy's video's, he doesn't talk fast rather smooth, calm & methodical. I just wish Wilson would offer training to get Your Permit as well as the CDL. Trying to study for the written on your own is not easy! Watching video's,studing manuals, doing flash card's, Are there book's one can suggest or recommend with "clear picture's" identifying and explaining each Componate pourpose and General locations to I.d. for pretrip inspections? I don't have a truck available to practice on. Shout out to truckingtruth and phantom 850 experiance as a Wilson student. I just wish you had a school located in Texas.

Hi Rosalie! Thanks for the kind words. In addition to Trucking Truth, we recommend downloading the DMV Genie app to study for your permit in your state. This has been a great resource for students.

I am testing Wednesday failed first time it’s okay I got a preview of what’s it’s like at the testing place nothing fancy pretty much a testing sight 😂 All I’m gonna say is make sure you eat before you go and STUDY THAT PRE TRIP TILL YOU KNOW IT WITH EVEN LOOKING AT A TRUCK MAKE IT YOUR 1# priority fuck your kids or wife 👀 you will fail if you “think” you got it make you 100% know your damn pre trip Sincerely your trucker buddy 🙂

On the test for tire pressure does the student have to check air pressure for every tire to make sure it's around 100 psi? How would you know without a pressure gauge,those tires could of been 80 psi.

Thanks for your interest in our Paid CDL Training program. We hire out of all 48 states and pay to bring qualified students to our terminal in Springfield, MO or Missoula, MT to begin training. We cover the transportation to our terminal, lodging, and meals while you're with us. You earn your CDL permit and get a DOT physical before you join us for onboarding. After your first week of onboarding, you will join your trainer and continue your training over the road. You will train over the road for 2 weeks before coming back to the terminal to take your CDL road exam. After you earn your Class A CDL, you continue your training for 30,000 miles. The Trailer parts here in California is completely different names, it’s not the same what you said , I payed 2000$ for one year to pass the second test and the school needs 2000$ to teach me . It takes one years . Is that the same in your state ?

Maybe it is just the camera playing tricks on my eyes, but that front left inside trailer tire looked to have an uneven wear pattern, did it not?

yes it does that tire had flat spots on the inside edge why did they not change that tire or at least point it out to show what a bad tire looks like
