My favourites are Necromancer Summoner and Javelin Amazon

Since 2000s when D2 was released my first char was Necromancer, specifically NecroLord build. WHen LoD was releaseed my fave builds until now: 1. Fury Ribcracker druid - really insane single target damage, works very well with multiple target's, when you get all items you need you wont die... 2. Bonemancer 3. Novamancer 4. Rabies/Fury druid 5. Pure Lightning Sorc - Infinity + Eschuta's + Griffon's eye = gg 6. Orb/FB/Meteor Sorc 7. SUmmonmancer 8. WW Barb / Frenzy 9. Beastmaster druid and last but not least: 10. Werebear Mauler

Nice videos keeping the D2 communities alive. Frenzy barb is a viable and funny build. Just did my first uber tristam test run, with no lifetap in my gear! Grief - Death - Duress - Andys - Atmas scarab - 2x Ravenfrost - Goblin toe - Laying of hands - String of ears. But it was not an easy task, but the most hillarious uber run i've ever done =)

Auradins are so much fun. I also enjoyed poison nova/ lower resist necro builds. Zeal enchantress builds are always really fun too but a tad OP :D Double throw barb with insane AR and AS was a pretty fun experimental build for me too.

My Favorite build is a Smite/Zeal hybrid, the Stats, Gear and skills are great, and this Pal has the ability to Clear bosses and Crowd monters very easily

Trap Assassins are right up there with Javazons when it comes to PVM. They are actually a little easier to be good with since Death sentry kills lightning immunes and you can basically kill everything off screen without even drawing it to you.

A few questions... 1. Is this video only about pure classes or did you take hybrid classes like MeteOrb and Vanquisher into consideration. 2. How do you rate them? 3. Whirlwinders Barbarian do huge damage. It may look like they do less damage, but with the amount of hits per second their damage is huge.

Makes me miss the battle sorc with max block for pvp my mates and I came up with back in the day.

Favourite builds: Whirlwind Barbarian: Using BOTD or Death Colossus Blade, Arreat's Face, Fortitude Armor, Laying of Hands and Telling of Beads Avenger Paladin: Oath Conquest Sword, Guardian Angel Armor, HOZ Shield. Crescent Mon amulet for leeching and Zealot Paladin: Grief Phase Blade, COH Armor, HOZ Shield. Strafazon: Harmony Grand Matron Bow, Steelskull Casque for dual leech, The Disciple Set for plus skills and resistances Frozenwall Sorceress: Oculus and Skin of the Vipermagi alongwith Merc with Insight Polearm

First off smiters where really popular mainly for pvp and using a ruin gear you can do all runs with ease. Same thing goes for jav amazons but people used mods for that char. One of the funniest builds was a rabie ware wolf

Enchantress - zeal (Passion), 30 Holy Shock Aura (2x Dream) in combination with max. Lightning mastery, chilling armor (Fortitude), life tap (draculs), ES+telekinesis, warmth, enchant, fire mastery. Infinity on holy frost merc (or might or blessed aim). 2 strong elemental attacks and even physical attack is not bad.

My fav were in this order: Hammerdin Javazon Blizz Sorc WW barb Great list

Necro - PnB Necro with teleport and just 1 point in all summon skills = Win! (You will however need nearly perfect gear for it. You want as much + to Necro and + to ALL as possible like eg: the shield runeword with 2+ skills in a good shrunken head) Sorc - Try BowaSorc! It is build around having the 1+ guided arrow bow equipped and then buff her as enchantress - My old sorc did more dmg than an Amazon. Bonus for this type of sorc is obviously that in groupplay you can buff up the rest of the group. As with the above mentioned Necro, get as many items as posible with + to ALL skills as it will buff the inherit amazon skill on the bow. (Was it called Widowmaker? Not sure....) Both of these is best optimized with Enigma chest - Yes, also the sorc due to 1+ all skills and saving a point in teleport effectively making the Enigma count for 2+ skills

Song/shout barbs have always been my favorite... But I always start with a lite sorc.

Fireclaw Werebear Druid was my favorite. Massive dmg. Could kill HP focused barbs in a second or two.

I love auradins, dragon/dream/hoj and avengers with vengeance, also werewolf Druid

My current favourites are trap assassin, bone necromancer and poison nova necromancer. Not the best ones perhaps but still fun.

it used to be the Necromancer before patch 1.10 that rocked the world.. - not by being the fastest at first but once it got going it was unstopable. I had a lvl 99 ( maxed ) Necromancer that used : Bloodgolem - Iron Maiden Curse, and Amp Damage + Corpse explosion. All it did was to run around gathering tons of enemies and then make them swarm the Blood Golem ( they couldnt kill it, when they where cursed with Iron Maiden ) Then when a few of the monsters died, you changed the Spell to Amplify Damage + Corpse Explotion.. and booom boom boom, all enemies got wasted in a split sekond. NONE, where faster at "ex cow levels" than this setup. ( and I played ALOT ) Yet it was allways a slow starter at levels, since it needed corpses to get really deadly.. ... but shamefully the patch 1.10 ruined all my lvl 99 charakters, and then I stopped playing.. They went from great to.. terrible...

I liked the fire-sorceress, great sinergy in the skills. But I didn't really compare to other sorceresses after LOD came out.

my favorite was always poison javelin, it is massively underrated but it is hard to get through boss fights in hell, but with a party it kills so fast.

My favorite builds for each class: 1) the Nova Sorc in 1.09 2) Hybrid Zon in 1.09 3) Poison Necro in 1.10+ 4) Hammerdin in 1.10+ 5) Trapassin in 1.10+ 6) Rabies/Fury or Wind Druid 1.10+ 7) Singer Barb 1.10+

I currently have an assassin with a damage reduction build. I wish I'd thought of it back when my internet was terrible and lag was the worst enemy. Paladin version would probably be tankier but with even worse damage.

My biggest diablo 2 runs: Started with summoning necr Then switched to ww barb Then had fun in uber tristram with smiter Finished with hammerdin but didnt even get to 90's as I recall.. Best RPG game ever IMO

I will mention the builds I use that were not mentioned: Zealoter, Hybrid assasin (trap+WW), Bone necro (I think its better than summoner in most cases).

Sometimes I would restart chars cause I would get bored and do exp runs with weird builds like a frenzy whirl wind barb u build up frenzy and have as much moment speed as possible then w.w. And your moving fast enough to d snk

Tornado Druid always have and always will be my favorite build. Javazon is a close second. Even if I don't play the game anymore.

Are you going to be playing after the reset? Also are you from the North ?

Fire Sorcs are still very useful, but they're bad for act 4. Extremely effective for cows and Mephisto. I'm surprised WereBear Druids aren't used though. I was doing 13k dmg per whack and this is with so-so gear, whacks pretty fast with good IAS and they got good crowd control with that stomp. Werewolf Druids seem more popular, but have no crowd control move. Trapsassins are good, too, both fire and lightning, but I think lightning does more dps.

I currently have a lvl 88 zealer and I find them so op. They just lack in AOE. Not sure why people are not trying out a zealer build because they are so much fun :) :) Nice video man

Summoning Necromancer is the best thing ever.

Maybe missed the trap assa? Think it is really funny too. My favorites are still javazone and ofc hammerdin. And more or less for fun builts the bowazone and the 200fcr firebolt sorc :-)

I like the posion necromancer my self. Killing everything in one hit what a small knife thanks to posion dagger is fun

Best PvP char is a hdin /w charge and foh. Eth zerker Death switch with andgelics in the cube with the cta. I had like 18k hamer with 1-50k charge and 10k foh was ridculas. Dueled for fg regularly with him. Lvl 97 Regulator

The Zealot/Fanatic is my favorite build by far. 2nd is WereBear-Maul.

I love the Trapsin build, loved farming and playing on hc with it. With the claws of course, I hate the hoto/spirit alternative :)

my favorite build is a chain lightning sorceress with loads of points into energy shield and mana regen add a socketed bone shield full of perfect diamonds, socketed armor and helmet full of perfect skulls and you have a build that is almost unstoppable i used to troll players online with that build all the time before the servers got shut down and since i saved the character, i can still troll people at lan parties

My favorite builds in order: 1.Javazon 2. Summoning necromancer 3. Meteorb Sorc

List is solid for the most part. I do think Trap Assassin had their place on the list though as almost everyone involved in the PVP scene had one. Hard counter to all the hammerdins anyone :P

Every ladder reset I make an hdin to start so I have an mfer who can run every single mf zone with ease, but I've been playing for so long my favorite builds now tend to be the oddballs that are little more difficult to perfect such as the frost zealot, wwsin, firebear druid, etc...the corpse explosion necro is fun as well. I am trying to come up with my own unique build as well that I will be writing a guide to if it's as powerful as I think it will be in both PvP, PvM, and PvE but we will see. Also, with the Faith runeword you still see plenty of bowazons.

My Javazon was my most OP character ever. I played her in local Coop and by the time Hell difficulty came along she basically made the entire party (a group of 5 more casual D2 players) obsolete. That was the last time they wanted to play with me. lol

Teleporting 50+ monsters into a Boss was insanely entertaining, Enigma Summoner necro for life!

You would be surprised how effective a hurricane druid is when you gear him up with destruction, 2 cold res&damage unique jeweled 3 elemental 3 tornado druid helm and infinity.

I'm using a hybrid FO CL sors for the first time of my life, when i was young i was way too "all in" to consider this build, Now i can make all mf and key run. Nilattack is still a bit hard.

Loved my hammer paladin but I think the nova sorc was the most fun before it got nerfed

Much more prefer zeal sorcerer with dual dream a good 90k dmg per swing works on ubers too. missing the werebear necromancer with auras in this list too.

Summoner necro is the SAFEST build out there. Although not the fastest.

I might be biased because Necro is my fav class but summoning necro is the best certainly in all round terms they have more mobility than melee type classes through using enigma. An unlike hammerdins an everything but the melee sorc they can take on the ubers no problem.

Frenzy barb yo, made tens upon tens of different variations. Once you feel the speed you can't ever EVER go back to anything else. Second would have to be dream zeal sorc, the damage, it is godly. Third, bliz sorc, nothing quite like instant crushing death bliz provides

My favorite was Fireclaw Bear Druid..

For my perspective this sorceress can effectively run only Pindle. It to annoying to switch items for tele and she dies to often etc. Every death, gear switch, etc took time that can be used for extra runs. Also if you die you lose gold that can be used for gambling. Effect of the MF is exponentional and so faster runs with lower amount of mf can be better than slower runs with a lot of mf. Also Mephisto and Andy doesn't drop really valuable items - only basic gear. The most optimal gear in my opinion: Harlequin Crest + PTopaz Tal Rasha's Amulet Tal Rasha's Armor + PTopaz Tal Rasha's Belt Ocolus + Random Jewel with usefull stats Monarch Spirit 35 fcr only x2 10 fcr rar rings with resistances and other usefull stats (use what you can find) War Traveler or Rar Boots Chance Guards Random usefull charms that you can get With this really cheap gear that anyone can get at some point you get 105 fcr for fast tele, ~500% mf (decent amount), all resistances max out, decent damage and hp. Also I recomend to put 1 in shiver armor. Our sorceress still afraid melee damage. If you use this skill when melee enemy hit you it freezes. This can save your life in some situations. And also if you run Accident Tunnels or Pindle or like River of Flame you need a Merc that can hold enemies and stay alive. You have to put only 2 items on him: The Reaper's Toll (any that you can find) + Shael or Amn Tal Rasha's + PRuby That this it. Those 2 items pretty much free. You can also put any random armor on him. Shaftstop or Treachery will be pretty usefull. Also I recommend to use sorceress orb with Enchant or Demon Limb to cast Enchant on Merc so he like never miss. Bad English

ww assassin is a lot of fun also! not very affective for mf but dueling and walking with friends makes it very fun to play! i also found zeal works better for ubrs imo. only if you have last wish.

amazing that this far down the line it seems that, STILL, everyone underestimates the PnB necro. My lv 94 pnb necro was any absolute beast in in both pvm and pvp. Not necessarily undefeated..... however, overpowered.
