Barbara!!!!😍🥰 I'm one of those odd ducks who loves the more obscure body styles - give me a notchback anything, and I'm a happy camper. The '67-'69 Barracuda is near the top of the list; I've lusted after one for most of my adult life. See, I grew up about 4 miles away from Chrysler's old #6 assembly plant in Fenton, Missouri, and you really couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting one or two {or 10} of their finished products. As I got older, I befriended several of the plant workers who lived close to me, which eventually led to one of the most incredible experiences in my gearhead life. I still vividly recall the day my buddy Greg took his retirement after thirty years on the job; his "gold watch" was actually a '67 notchback Barracuda that had been stripped down to the original undercoating, then run back down the #6 assembly line to be fitted with factory-fresh parts from stem to stern, inside AND outside. The focal point was of course the 391 HEMI nestled under the bonnet. It had been saturated with virtually every goodie one could find in the Mopar Sport/Performance catalog, and then some. A week after he brought the car home for good, he phoned to see if I might be up for little joyride that same afternoon? It took me all of one eyeblink to agree. A couple hours later, we were cruising in his rejuvenated ride. Just like a proud father, Greg gushed about all his beast's features for a good 45 minutes. I kept quiet, letting it all soak in gradually. Thus, I was simply not prepared for Greg suddenly tuning to me, then asking if I wanted to drive!!! Without hesitation, I met his gaze, and clobbered him with one of my favorite retorts - "Is a pig's ass pork???" Once behind the wheel, I got the shock of my life whilst attempting a rolling burnout - at barely one quarter throttle, that lil' old HEMI was so powerful that we wound up doing a full 360 before finally hooking up the tires, and sprinting away like an Exocet missile. The rest of my seat-time was a blurred whirlwind that culminated with a zero-to-100 time of 3.8 seconds. LSS, Greg's ride was beastly with a capital "BEASTLY," and by the end of the day she had me 100% in her thrall. And I've been that way ever since. Finally, since Daniel-san mentioned a vinyl top in Babs' future, I triple-dog dare him to fit her with a Mopar "mod" roof covering, when the time comes!😝 Great vid, and KUTGW as always. Came across your site just today. Love the fact that your cars are not all garage queens. I bought a Caprice that must have been caught in a sand storm as the paint is gone off the roof and clear on the body no longer exists. The finish feels like sandpaper! It's a nice luxury car but I cannot afford to paint it and now that I am seeing more and more cars with patina, I don't feel I have to. Love it like it is!

Piling cars gets to you, I never taught that one day I would have 15 of them in my backyard! They are parked in a way that I can take any one without moving others, but they stay outside, all batteries plugged with a trickle charger

I owned a 69 Roadrunner, 383 torque flite on the column in 75 when i was 18,the 383 is my favorite big block for durability , i also owned a 69 340 4 speed Dart Swinger in 91, love your channel guys. 👌

Love the Cuda, never owned one, but one of my favorites. While the vinyl top might make ir more "original", it probably looks best without it, in my opinion anyway... I had a '55 Chev. with a Corvette 350 horse 327, 780 duel line carb which would take most any 383 stock engine off the line. Totaled it before I ever took it to the track. A frame broke on a highway and hit a steep bank and we went airborne. Had 55, 56 hardtop, 57 conv. and 60 conv Chevys, and wish I had them all now, along with the 58 Desoto conv.

All awesome cars, my favorite is the Pontiac tempest!!!!!! I had two tempests one with a 6 cylinder and the other one 326 v-8, also love lemans, GTO 1967!!!!! I also had a 1973 4 door Pontiac lemans with a 350 v-8 all very dependable cars!!! A very beautiful car your tempest love the old Pontiacs!!! Thanks for a good car show all very nice cars!!!!!!
