Az eredeti quartet gyermekkorom óta a kedvencem, még egy Gigli - Galli-Curci felvételem is van (!), s a ragyogó angol film Maggie Smith-szel: a Quartet is erről szól - no, de a swinget is kedvelem ( az örök szerelem nekem a Manhattan Transfer volt és az is marad!), így aztán Boldiékkal ez az " őrült" felvétel is a felejthetetlen élmények közé került! Köszönet érte !!❤❤❤

Actually Verdi was a revolutionary composer and certainly would be interested in the treatment here .The same was said if Jacques Loussier and his jazz renderings of Bach .This sort of experimentation has its place .

Úgy könnyű, hogy Verdi kísér.. It's easy to sing if Verdi plays the orchestra.

Staging was very interesting. At least Gilda and Magdalena see and argue with each other. I have never seen such arrangement on stage. But, I do not like orchestral accompaniment

La peor version de Bella Fligia del amore; ritmo fatal , sobrecargada de histrionismo , escenario fatal, no empatan las voces. Una pena. Lo peor esa musica de fondo, de "acompañemiento". Nada que ver.

Sure, it's sacrilegious but the singers still have more or less the correct rhythm. The vocals aren't too bad, the tenor knows a bit. The "Rigoletto" is bloody awful. the women so-so.
