I must agree with James, Wetherspoon's has a good range of ales and the food is great, I quite often go in in the morning and have a breakfast wrap, (and a coffee) when they open in the morning.

Hi Guys You can't beat Friday evening with the Wendals! Just a polite thought / suggestion (cos I care about your safety)! I understand why you guys "rope up" cos you don't want to lose your magnet line, but if you fish a navigable canal / river, I'm just thinking about if your magnet / line gets snagged on a boat, and you get dragged into the water. (I know you guys are careful, but I'm anxious it could happen). Have You thought about a "quick release" mechanism perhaps, in case this happens? Anyway, keep up the good work.
