Yes, Catterick was the RAF fire training school for years, and when aircraft were no longer airworthy, some of them were donated to the fire training center to train would be firefighters the art of firemanship

This was filmed in 1973 I was that man bird scaring were told it was a training film

Had quite a few of practice fires like this. These maybe practice fires but they are actually just like the real thing. Per Ardua Ad Asbestos.

What shocking spelling - you mean ‘to lure’ and not ‘to lour’ - not a great start to an RAF recruiting film now is it? The RAF - open to poor spellers! 😩
