This video is about my favorite Babushka headscarf style. You will see how different this classic headscarf style looks depending on the size and fabric of the scarf. You will see wool, cotton and silk head scarves from my collection. Also I included some bandana size headscarves in this tutorial.

You have some beautiful vintage scarves, Elena. I particularly like the last silk one and have a feeling it might date from the 1970's when 'any colour goes' was the order of the day. Love the vivid purple and burnt orange! ❤

I especially liked the red bandana, and the small Liberty scarf - the smaller babushka style is so cute and absolutely perfect. I love this babushka style! I will wear it with my face veil next time I go out. For hijab, I will likely need 35x35 inches square scarf in order to cover all of my hair.

Agree, the minimum size for a hijab is 35x35. BTW, Have you seen my last video? kzfaq.info/get/bejne/g6d9gKmBurbYo2w.html I think Style #3 can be easily transformed to a hijab. What do you think?

I am enjoying your beautifully presented videos so much, thank you. I watched the one on Grace Kelly style first because during lockdown my hair has grown, I now wear it up but it blows about outside. I remember that in the 60’s when wearing hair up was popular scarves were worn often. I think the Grace Kelly scarf style looks best with height on the crown from hair worn pinned up, this gives a lovely profile, what do you think? I am working on being brave and wearing a headscarf which is not seen now in the North of England!

What kind of scarfs did Grace Kelly use for her babushka style looks? I love the look women had when they started to drive cabriolets with scarfs covering there hair and sunglasses. Would you, please, make a video on that look and spice it up with some historical facts?

Babooshka is a Russian word.Бабушка .rus. B(a)booshka, stress in Russian grammar is placed on the second letter.Ba(boo)shka,accent doesn't sound respectful,vulgarly.Babooshka а grandmother is a woman who has grandchildren In Russian, have the word Дедушка.rus.dedushka-grandfather
