Classic Hollywood - Splendor in the Grass

So, today marks exactly four years since I uploaded my first classic hollywood video - it's gone by so fast, crazy. So many wonderful things has happened to me because I started uploading these videos, I've met so many wonderful people and made friends for life so I just wanted to say thank you to all of you, who watch them - nothing makes me happier. I shall stop now before this becomes way too sappy. To mark this joyous occasion I did what I love most - a candid video. As my previous ones there's no feature film footage but just a collection of home movies, newsreels, shorts of various kinds etc.

This is so beautiful. Congratulations on a wonderful four years of videos! This was the perfect way to celebrate, I absolutely adore this real-life footage. Always gets me teary! Especially seeing Clark Gable and Carole Lombard together- that just really wells me up. This was absolutely beautiful, great job! :)

Good morning Sara..thank you for the speedy reply and information about Greer Garson at that funeral. It was SO BRIEF..excellent find. I look for those candid moments. We can admire their performance work as artists..but I'm also trying to get insights I to them as 'people' off camera. Especially following Garson right now. .

Sara, where in the world do you get all of this beautiful footage? This is really, really well done. However, your Deborah Kerr tribute will always be my all-time-favorite video of yours. I've even shared that one on my Facebook page so that my friends can enjoy it as well. Keep up the great work.

Curious ..,is that Greer Garson at 1:09? Almost too quick to tell. If so, she appeared dressed for a funeral or something. Can you give me info on that very brief clip please.
