I really like your tutorials and own a number of your ebooks, but I have to take exception with this one because it perpetuates what I consider to be the single biggest mistake people make importing into Lightroom, which is to import directly from a memory card. The *ONLY* safe way to import images into Lightroom is to first copy the files to a working directory on your hard disk, then import them from there. That safeguards your files until you have them properly imported while also providing a backup if anything happens along the way. It also speeds up the actual import process.

I'm not sure I follow what you are saying. Why isn't it safe to copy the files using Lightroom and why is it safer and faster to use the Finder or File Explorer? Thank you.

Has this been loaded properly - the audio has you speaking at twice the normal speed 🤔

Check your settings in the KZfaq player. You probably have the x2 playback speed selected. I often turn on captions in the player by clicking the option in error.

@@RobinWhalley. Apologies Robin - it was me. First time I’ve experienced it so it threw me. All good now thanks. 👍👍
