Not a Sheffield United or Wednesday fan but this is a great derby to watch.

Watching this will never get boring

This game never fails to make me absolutely howl with laughter. The timings of the goals are perfect, Fleck absolutely nailing it in a 'hello we are here' moment... the false hope at 2-2 before the bounce killer emerges, silencing the Hillsborough crowd. Brooks selling Hunt down the river with that megs, Leon with the finisher against his former club, with so much hatred present, and finally Wilder's pure passion on the final whistle. The perfect game in my opinion, any Wednesday fan will tell you this did not change anything, but Carlos subsequently ripping up a 20 quid note, and their club never quite being the same again tells a very different story. Enjoy the pub league Wednesday :)

Don't support either but United silencing Wednesday by scoring just when they're in the middle of 'Don't fuckin bounce then you're a blade' is utterly superb.

One of the greatest matches in Sheffield United’s history - what a time to be a Blade that was. I’ve never had such unwavering belief in the team, the manager and the coaching staff as I did in the Wilder era (until the unfortunate end). We’d listened all summer to Sheffield Wednesday fans telling us that the Championship was a “massive step up” and that we’d be “relegated by Christmas”; September came around and our players showed them where to shove their naivety. Coutts in the tunnel, Fleck’s early goal, Leon laughing at them at Hillsborough, the game being levelled at 2-2 only for Duffy to silence them in a matter of seconds (the feeling that even at 2-2 we’d come back because the side had so much character) and Wilder celebrating as though he was in the crowd with us - magic.

Brooks in this game was fucking legendary, worth ten times what Bournemouth got him for.

What makes Duffy's goal so good for me is that incredibly rare combination of being absolutely ecstatic because your team has scored against your biggest rival, and being absolutely ecstatic because Wednesday are absolutely gutted having just being equally ecstatic. Derby football is great
