Classic Mini Restoration Episode 39 - Building The Front Subframe (Top Arm, Bottom Arm, Tie Bar Rod)

The car will be returned this week so its time to start rebuilding some of the parts up. First job is the front subframe, including the Top Arms, The Lower Bottom Arms and the Tie Rod Bars.
I will be rebuilding the car with the help and guidance of Dennis at Classic And Retro Restoration.
The video isnt designed to be a tutorial and is purely for entertainment purposes only...but it does give an insight into what goes on during the rebuilding of the front subframe. Please bear in mind that the videos are quite heavily edited and dont always show every procedure.

Thank you for a really great series of videos on building up a classic mini. They are nice and clear and your narration is excellent. I am currently assembling my own front subframe off the car and although I have worked on these a lot in the past it was decades ago and mine has been apart for a very long time so your videos are a super reference tool. Cheers!

Thanks. Its good fun making the videos...although a little bit stressful at times. I always stress they aren't tutorials, but hopefully they do give an insight as to whats involved when restoring a mini. Good luck with your build.

Yeah its been a busy week :-) I needed to get a few bits so we couldn't get everything done that we had planned but hopefully we'll get those things sorted next week. Dennis has been great...Id not be at this stage without his help thats for sure.
