In this episode of the Classic Mini Restoration I find out the Bonnet is very rusty and also needs repairing!
I set about Repairing the Rusty Bonnet, see all the prep work that goes into this sort of repair with plenty of Rust, Grinding, Fresh Metal and Mig Welding

Hey mate, I'd have been desperate to stay away from that center rib, but you managed to fabricate it really well, hats off to you! Think you'll really enjoy working on the front end, much more rewarding than the boot!

Bloody great job so far with that bonnet mate! That would be on my scrap pile, especially with that hole on the curve! 😅 Great skills!🙂 Btw, i saw two mugs in the video 😉😆

It was a nice change to be honest but I really need to get on with the front end now if I am going to finish the bodywork off this side of summer

That front of the bonnet looked very similar to mine. You've smashed it though 👌.
