Also I've been so down, depressed with 30,000 in debt to college which is all I make at my dead end job. All I could think was 30 grand down the drain and I still can't even get a job to pay it off. Anyways I'm still in debt and still at a dead end job but finding these songs helped me. I'm happy listening to them. My mom always told me as a kid that if I was sad I should listen to music about God and I'd feel better. She was right :)

I am recovering from a world of Darkness. Petra is all I listen to. My life not just dark but surrounded by it daily from life of construction. Life's not easy. Others on weekends help.

My Pastor just told me Petra reached out to him from me tagging him in one of yalls FB post and that yall are coming to Destiny in OKC in July. Ohh yeah. He was so freaking excited. Yalls were the vessel that led him to Christ in like 1987, I just want to say I can't wait and thank you all for being faithful servants.

While all my friends in high school were listening to hair bands or heavy metal, I was an '80s kid rocking out to Petra. Being a Christian kid in public high school in the '80s was tough, but I wouldn't want to do it now because kids haven't even harder.

If y'all like Petra you should check out this other band disciple disciple was supposed to open for them but because the night before disciples was supposed to play by themselves got canceled Petra instead of playing the regular set they would have they let disciple be the main act and they went home early and that the disciple get all the attention from the fans to Petra met them two times genuine folks genuine that's why I listen to Christian rock

I've Petra back in 2017 and I this this is how rock is supposed to sound like. It's My favourite rock band since then and God used it alot in my life.

I listened to this as a kid almost everytime we were in the car and for some reason the tune came back 22 years later but I couldnt remember the song or artist as I was so young...it took my 3 weeks to find it and I'm so glad I did

Muy buena banda la escuche siempre aunque pasen los años siempre vuelve a sonar en mis parlantes, la cancion "angel of light" me parece una de mejores de Petra.

Just seen the live concert on DVD for the first time this eve. Always loved their tunes. However, Angel of Light is AWESOME!!! It got me. That's all I have to say. By and far, they've truly come home back to the rock with their best effort out of the gate in many years. This whole release does the '80s justice & makes me want to listen to music again away from the evil crud that's spiritually nauseating. Thank you, Petra, for being the faithful messengers evangelising God's Word to the masses blessing prodigals like me who so desperately needed a fresh infusion of God's Spirit in my life. Your gift of music is a blessing to me I'll pass to my family.

I was introduced to Petra in a church library when I was about 7 or 8 and was astonished there actually was Christian rock and roll. Out of all their albums I would have to say that this is my favorite. This album has been very therapeutic over the last several months, I love it!
