I never was a fan of the Prowler, but it was fun seeing an old school installation. Brings back great memories of all the radios I installed for friends, family, and co-workers back in the 80's and 90's. Thanks guys!😂

LOL! This takes me back. One of my billiard friends up in the Seattle area owns a Prowler. I remember him driving down to the Oregon Coast for our bi-annual pool tournaments and everyone in the small town would double-take seeing it drive down the main street. Definitely a quirky car!

I would love to see more small episodes just showing what you do in a day. More installs basically. even if its just a radio, or speaker, or whatever. I know you usually feature the really expensive builds. but yeah.

PROWLER WERE ALWAYS COOL, BUT MAN YOU MAKE ME FEEL OLD DOING A 90/00S MOPAR RADIO. I MISS BEING AN INSTALLER.

I would think the Pioneer SPH-10BT would be a great head unit for situations like this. The pull out cradle for your phone would give you a small screen for nav when needed but it would work fine just as a regular headunit.

Such a nice looking car. If they didn't have that rental car interior quality and the miserable LH drivetrain, it would have been something really special.

What if the customer was keen on a screen? How would you wire up a Sony XAV 8000 series into something older? Like a 95 Ford? I can NOT get this thing to come on. 😂

I wonder how many times a customer initially says they don’t want steering wheel controls maintained and then regret spending the extra few dollars to keep them, especially in a car where the controls are down low like in this Prowler?

One of the most disappointing cars to get into. Design 💯 parts used -100 Also that is a terrible place to put a microphone. It can be blocked while the steering wheel is being turned which results in choppy audio on the phone call on the opposite end.

The spokes on the steering wheel won't prevent sound from reaching the mic. This is the most ideal location for a mic considering the car is a convertible and the plastics are brittle and they don't want to damage a car where parts are near impossible to find.
