Rick Rude left us way to early in his short life. He was known as a class act with fans. A good family man, and a friend with mostly everyone he met.The impact his death left on the wrestling community is immeasurable.

Rude was in the WWF when she interviewed him here before Survivor Series 1997 so no. Rude died in April of 1999 so i'd say this was a good 18 to 20 months before he died. Sunny was alright until the Kliq screwed around and bullied Chris Candido and made out with her, she wasn't the same after that i'd say but she did recover and clean herself up they've said. And is now in the WWE's HOF so thats a bonus at least!

Camera man shot them from the waist up and towards the end?, Rude's hand was covering his wedding ring which he never took off when he was at work i.e. at wrestling period. Don't confuse the man's character from who he was outside of wrestling a man who always held up his wedding vows to his wife at home. Promo even has him telling Sunny their business where you pay a premium for his services, i.e. cutting her off from getting too personal during the kayfabe interview with him. Cos the wife's watching him at home right?! Rick Rude = Ultimate professional even when in character.

Believe so heard that originally the plan was only for Rude to manage Shawn Michaels it just happened this was around the time that Michaels and Triple H also joined up on TV and DX was more organic than planned, in addition there also wasn't a real long term plan for Rude which is apparently why he wasn't signed to a full time deal at this point, but indeed DX got over and then WWF did seem to reach a deal to bring Rude in full time but Montreal happened and Rude was just as mad as Bret Hart was about it and told Eric Bischoff he was coming back to WCW and he did and by the sound of it at the same time the WWF sent him the contract to sign in the mail

You can already see the beginning of Sunny's eventual downfall in this video: Glassy eyes and slurred words. No surprise that she was gone from the company less than a year later.
