Yes, the little Thrillseekers streak wasn't intentional, just the way the keys and flows took me. Great to hear from you AJ. Yeah it kinda went that way didn't it. Farewell To The Moon is a recent addition to my collection and was keen to get it in, and as you saw, it kinda went from there. Been wanting to get Steve's remix of Reflect in for a while too, so pretty chuffed I managed it this time! I see your mix with Matt dropped last week, hopefully will get that on tomorrow while working (providing calls don't get in the way like they did all last week!).

Greetings! They both have their issues to be honest but I think I just need to get used to the RP7000s… I prefer the RP7000s but once I got used to the 120s they weren’t so bad. Main issue was that pitch runaway when trying to slow the record down. Not sure if it’s fixed with the 120x.

Yes that’s fair, there was a bit of a Thrillseekers streak which wasn’t intentional, just the way the keys and flow took me. I’d have to say it’s a little from column A and a little from column B. Due to the steps I tend to go in without being perfectly synced, as even the slightest nudge can send it off the other way. They’re hard work for sure but I probably just need more practice on them, I’m used to my old cheapo ones which were way more granular on the pitch. 1210s in the future maybe…

Got one of those in my birthday vinyl collection, so it’ll be in the next mix.

Finally got around to replying to this. I record the audio using a Behringer UCA-222 from the record output of my mixer into a the USB port of a Mac running Audacity. I don’t process the sound at all, just merge it with the video and that’s it. I think the sound also has a lot to do with the A&H mixer, that warm sound is one of the main reasons I went for it. Matches trance music perfectly I think. Thanks again for the comment. New mix should be out in a few weeks, with some slightly different hardware too 😃
