As a Kid of the 60s and early 70s I looked up to Wahoo. We did not have many Native sports heroes in those days. Later in my life I worked a few of his matches as a cop!

@@michaelvaughn8864 Sadly, despite working some of his matches in the 80s, I failed to reach out to him before or after his matches. One of the few regrets I have looking back. I did meet and got to know Danny Little Bear in the 80s. Unfurtuently the meeting was outside the sporting arena. He was struggling with a few criminal issues. But, I tried to help him as best as possible at the time to get his life together.

I remember watching when Valentine broke Wahoo’s leg and went on tv wearing the shirt bragging I Broke Wahoo’s Leg. I had one made at my local independent sporting goods store. Most of us realized early that pro wrestling was, hmm, hiding a big secret in plain sight. But some of these guys were so good, it was easy to forget at times. Wahoo was very easy to believe, whether as a villain or heroic good guy. Nothing but talent.

Of course, he wasn't as good as Wahoo. I watched Wahoo and Paul Jones VS Ole and Gene Anderson, Wahoo VS Blackjack Mulligan and Wahoo VS Johnny Valentine and against Greg Valentine. 1:07:23 he says two or three weeks ago he saw Flair at Thunder. Thunder didnt exist in 1997. He also says his son is 10 years old here, and I saw an article from 2001 that says in it his son was 12 years old in 01... So it has to be either 1999 or possibly 1998? They also say the WWF is outdrawing WCW in Charlotte, so that would have to be that time frame, 1999 when WWF was really hot. WWF wasn't outdrawing WCW anywhere in 97 🤷‍♂️
