@@michaelvaughn8864 Sadly, despite working some of his matches in the 80s, I failed to reach out to him before or after his matches. One of the few regrets I have looking back. I did meet and got to know Danny Little Bear in the 80s. Unfurtuently the meeting was outside the sporting arena. He was struggling with a few criminal issues. But, I tried to help him as best as possible at the time to get his life together.

They should have fired the guard working at a wrestling show and didn't know who wahoo was.

He did one appearance for WWF that I know of in 1994, him and Chief Jay Strongbow had a segment with Tatanka on Monday Night Raw

I liked him as face or heel . He was tough as nails and had tons of personal charisma .

Great story! I briefly met Wahoo outside The Greensboro Coliseum after a match with Ivan Koloff. I remember he wore a big leather belt around his waist with “Wahoo” inscribed across the back.

He also says his son is 10 years old here, and I saw an article from 2001 that says in it his son was 12 years old in 01... So it has to be either 1999 or possibly 1998? They also say the WWF is outdrawing WCW in Charlotte, so that would have to be that time frame, 1999 when WWF was really hot. WWF wasn't outdrawing WCW anywhere in 97 🤷‍♂️

Wahoo's 2nd son Nolan Ryan McDaniel passed in 2022 at 30 so it had to be in 2002 his other son Storm passed in 2015 at 17

⁠@@rodzorMaybe … when I moved to Va in 1999 I saw him and his son at my local mall… he was sitting at a table signing autographs for I think it was $20. I just remember when he stood up thinking how small and frail he looked , I really regret not getting his autograph .

I do remember Chief Wahoo McDaniel Personal Feud with Nature Boy Ric Flair and Rick Rude and other wrestlers.

I do remember back in NWA Wrestling under Jim Crockett Wrestling Promotions in 1984. There was a battle between Ricky Steamboat and Chief Wahoo McDaniel for the NWA USA Championship Title. When Ricky Steamboat defend his NWA USA Tile against Wahoo Mcdaniels . But Tully Blanchard interfere in the ring . Tully hit Ricky Steamboat with a chair in 1984. The NWA put the USA title in a tourament but Chief Wahoo McDaniel won the NWA USA title in tourament in 1984 year. Then Chief Wahoo McDaniel tag team with Tully Blanchard in 1984. In the 1984 in NWA in 1984 Chief Wahoo McDaniel was NWA USA Champion and Tully Blanchard was NWA World Tv Champion.

It has to be 1997 or 1998 as he's talking about Flair still in WCW getting beat up every week (By the NWO) and Wahoo died in 2002.
