I like when DC3 touched the whell on ground while the tail wheel stil in the air,..that was so amazing

That’s required on a DC3 you need to keep the tail flying as long as possible or you will lose rudder and pitch and lose directional control - it’s always beautiful to watch when executed properly. Some recent DC3 accidents can be attributed directly to loss of tailplane authority

@@flymachine thanks for detail information regarding the requrement of DC3 ( tail dragger character ) and i can imagine how bussy the PIC with the pedals to keeping aligned ( by seen rudder movement before take off )

Yo volé en un C47 allá por el año 1962 ,tenía 11 años y lo que recuerdo que los asientos eran de Al a lo largo del avión ,el vuelo fue sobre Santiago de Chile y fue mi primera experiencia y todavía lo recuerdo

Cracking video - thank you👍✌️💜 I love grass strips and larger/faster stuff coming in. Ive been lucky enough to have some hands and feet on time in an Auster - that was circa 1982🤔😳😳💜💜 I was also luck enough to have a ride in an ex 666 sqd Scout too. As a kid I made models of most of these aircraft - happier times ✌️💜
