Okay, if you think about it though, with Wolverine’s healing factor, his antibodies are probably so good, the claws ARE sterile even though they’ve been inside his body. So, although gross, it’s probably okay.

One of my favorite Wolverine lines comes from the scene where he tries getting rid of Sabretooth. Magneto causes an incident, and the X-Men are sent to stop him. On his way out of the room, Wolverine asks Prof X: "How come we're supposed to beat up your old enemies, but help mine?" Xavier has no reply. Just a savage line, I love it!
