I have no idea why I've waited so long to release a gameplay in this zone, but here it is. I do not expect this zone to be available in the Classic WoW demo, because it is 17+ (recommended at least level 20), but I expect it to be highly populated once Vanilla is launched.
Being a warrior at low levels is tough (pun intended), it requires a lot of patience and careful planning. You just can't level as a protection warrior (initially I wanted to make this gameplay with this build) and you are forced to have a 2 hand weapon. While is doable to solo 2 mobs the same level as you, this can be a risky adventure.
About Redridge Mountains questing: almost all quests are within reach, but some quests are hard to solo. Do yourself a favor, take a friend with you.
Character name: Richard (the Lionheart) (level 20-21)
Race: Human Male (Alliance)
Class: Warrior (Arms)
Zone: Redridge Mountains (Vanilla)
Quest hubs in: Lakeshire
Questing areas: Three Corners, Lakeridge Highway, Lake Everstill, Road to Burning Steppes (North of Lakeshire)

Please, prove me wrong :) In Vanilla I used to play a hunter (MM or Survival) and a protection warrior. Can't remember how was the solo experience or if I leveled up not in that spec. But I've leveled up mostly with friends in party & dungeons anyway.

Leveling as a protection warrior in classic might be an example of "You think you do (want it), but you don't" ;) I am leveling a protection warrior for fun and I find myself taking a lot of breakes because it is just boring. I'd only advice it if you are intending to run around in groups most of the time.

Everyone is different, for me the classic WoW Warrior really embodies the sword/shield fantasy and I will enjoy levelling slowly, probably painfully and with many challenges along the way!

Oh man, one of my first alliance characters was a human Ret Pally, and while around lv 19 or so I looted a piece the red mail set you're partially in here (I want to say it was the 'Raiders' set...?) and went absolutely mad about finding all the pieces since i thought it looked so awesome on a pally. Upon being told by someone who was wearing the chestpiece that he got it from mob in Redridge, I (in my brilliant youth not understanding the idea of world drops) raced over and started farming every mob i could find. Spent hours trekking over these hills and throughout the canyons before making my way back to Lakeshire to dump all the vendor trash i'd accumulated. Might've even gained a level or two from it!

Yes, Raiders green set. Good set for this level (both aesthetically and practical), coming from world drops yes :) You did not tell us if you succeed finding all the pieces :) Lovely story! :) Most of us have this kind of stories in WoW (starting with _Back in the days when I was young...)_ :D

45:28 That is a particularly deadly encounter. Lucky there was only the one behind that rock. The first time I ran by there and those orcs netted me it scared me to death. Death actually did follow shortly thereafter. Just the other day I was in Classic and sneaking around trying to pick orc pockets and died there yet again.😆

No matter how many expansions they release, what really keeps me getting back to the game is the sense of the "world" in it. Unfortunately, good times didn’t last long enough. And was not able to appreciate it as much as I should have.

Very nice zone, nice visuals and quests are all within reach (much like Loch Modan). Some are elite or really hard, maybe now is the real first time when you have to stay in party with more ppl to finish the quests.

Redridge is a beautiful zone. Unfortunately I didn’t spend as much time there as a new player as I should have. I spent a lot more time jumping between Loch Modan, Wetlands, Duskwood and Ashenvale as a low level hunter, but I did stop by good old Redridge on my way to the Burning Steppes for the first time and it really caught my eye. I don’t have any plans to buy the virtual ticket for Blizzcon and the demo. I’ll just pay to reactivate my sub when the server finally does comes out. All I want from Blizzcon is when the date it releases it all.

This was the 1st zone I visited after elwynn forest (by mistake) I remember crossing the bridge and experienced my first Orc mob. I was too low of a level to be there (4 or 5) and the mob killed me after 2-3 hits. I went back to Elwynn forest after that and lvled high enough to go to westfall instead. I remember it like it was yesterday. It was 2008.

My fondest memory of Redridge was having to go here on my *horde* hunter to get a specific rank of Gore off of the pig near the alliance city. Boy, that was an adventure.

Lol I remember coming here to train lock picking and then helping to kill the rare boar - Princess I think - and dying a ton.

Hmm, can't remember this rare boar here. There was a Princess boar in Elwynn Forest. But if you notice at 5:00 - I almost died from a lvl 17 rare. Good thing I've noticed in time to pop up my Retaliation. I was dropping sooo fast... :D

Meisio I did see that, you hung in there but he almost got you. I'm trying to remember the boar, youre right that Princess was the boar in Elwynn with two other smaller companions. This one was just west of the town, I think a wanted poster or quest, Bellygrub or Bellyrot or something. It'll come back, it's only been a decade or so :)

The feels man.... the game was so different back then. Im so excited for classic, even if it's gonna be time consuming, atleast I will actually invest time on a main for once rather than having 10 alts.

Hey Lukas. If you don't know my position by now, here it is: I am not against any private servers but I encourage you to wait and support the real thing. Before there was not available option, but now that Blizzard is going to launch Classic Servers, I think it's better to wait couple of months more. I think we will have a surprise at Blizzcon when they will announce the launch date. :) What you see here it's not private servers footage, I can assure you. :) Salutations, Meisio

Problem is pservers are corrupt.U can check Elysium and Lightshope, but they are run by proven goldsellers. If u have no problem with that, go for it. I would wait lil longer tho.

Meisio ....Its certainly ASMR to ME. The sights, the ambiance, the music, ALL lovely and VERY relaxing. Being able to watch someone play vanilla, a bonus. I find nothing "relaxing" about hearing someone WHISPERING. quite frankly I'd like to reach out n smack them lol

It's on purpose. I am playing it for ambience / background sounds only. And from time to time you can look at it. It's another type of music & ambience - this is the channel's purpose. Salutations :)
