The Battle City Draft is a new series where we built 5 GOAT format decks (2005 era cards only). Every episode will feature us using one of the five decks until we used them all. The only rules we following is no forbidden cards and limited/semi limited can only be used once per deck EXCEPT 3 special cards we chose to be used multiple times. Let the mind games begin!

i love these and seeing the word draft actually makes me think how cool it would be for you guys and maybe some others like Doto, Tyree TeamSamurai etc to do an actual draft league for yugioh. Out of all the boss monsters and some others everyone gets to choose a couple to build decks around and then compete in a tournament of some kind or a season idk! just a thought!

I dunno if this helps/means anything to you guys, but Project Ignis (fanmade and free online Yu-Gi-Oh game) actually has rule selection for deck building. So if you select the GOAT rule set for your duels, it'll only let you build with cards made for that rule set with its limit/ban list. My friends and I use it to make GOAT decks before playing with each other in person a lot.

I love that you two have fun. Recently been all about Master Duel and my glob. The amount of players who have just unbeatable decks. How is that any fun at all?! i kinda wish horus got the same treatment as silent magician and silent swordsman got with the special summon version of horus so the lvl 8 version would be easier to bring out i like the lvl cards but they are just too slow for more modern formats great video tho rhyme this series has been a banger

Back then if you could pull off a Horus Lv8 with Dark Simorgh deck you pretty much locked out your opponent. Now there are ways around that combo via special summoning. Good duel though!

Had one of my best plays ever with my Sacred Beasts the other night. Drew the 3 beasts, Fallen Paradise, and the Dimensional fusion for them. Secondary Armatyle first turn. Proceeded to end of turn and got me Armatyle and banished opponents field. Almost as good as getting both the 3000 ATK Cubics first turn with the option of placing counters through a trap. Easy clap

@@rhymestyle its one of my favorite decks and I still dont have the trap Awakening for the them. Hoping to get it soon. Sacred Beasts, Ruin & Demise, Cubics, and Rose Dragons are my favorite decks atm. Have upwards of 20. Mostly build pure decks unless I lack numbers. Have Bujins, Fur Hires, Dangers, Dark World, Vampires, Red Dragon Archfiends, Obelisk, Tokens, Burning Abyss, a hodgepodge Ritual deck, Shaddolls, Dogmatika/Albaz, and a few others. I usually find a design i like and build decks from there. Or finding near full sets at a card shop and saying why not lol Thats how I ended up with my Fur Hires. Ill build a whole deck before i bother reading up on what the deck does or how its played. Trial by fire all day. Next set im working on is an Agent deck. After that, most likely gonna finish off my Lightsworns

About the ryme joking about blue eyes eating kuribo since it reminded me not only kuribos explode at the slightest touch but A 300atk monster is actually crazy due to random statements from characters and stuff In Arc V getting hit by 4000ATK (extra damage ( as in the character got to 0LP and had 4000 damage left over)on a bike is enough to make them fly into a building and cause a small explosion 3000ATK is supernova level (or sun I can't remember) (this is in zexal) And 2 4000ATK monsters is enough to cause holes in dimensions (GX) So technically a 300ATK kuribo is insane realistically (same with yugi being able to get bit by one ) Then we have Kiba man being 200ATK so in monster lore 40 kibas can rip holes in dimensions
