Great to hear! I wish I had the Takamine's main rival Yamaha NTX 1200R here too.

That takamine is far more superior in sound

Fantastic playing. I prefer the Aranjuez's sound, that's a big brighter and sounds snappier in faster playing styles. Maybe you should try Maton, as they're known for great fingerstyle playability. Also Martin has some of the best sounding guitars I've played. Maton has better and clearer amplification, though

Thanks for the info! Maton is rather unfamiliar brand with me, but I have to check it out!

Thanks! Aranjuez is very special instrument. It's made in China and I bought mine one from Thomann.de. Unfortunately, I believe that the brand is not active at the moment. facebook.com/AranjuezGuitars/

Estou querendo comprar este pré-amplificador da takamine e colocar no meu violão antigo (takamine) que está em ótimo estado de conservação o que acha do investimento?

People on forums wrote that CTP-2 was better than CPT-3. I think CTP-3 sounds ok, however the Cooltube system consumes a lot of batteries, which makes it a bit challenging to use.

@@lucasborges5152 I tried to use the rechargeables, but it turned out that their voltage is only about 1,2 V and CTP-3 requires about 1,4 - 1,5 V

Great playing. How far can you comfortably reach on the Takamine? I have been wanting to buy it for the 24 frets, but am worried that the upper fret access is even less than on my current Takamine 20 fret guitar, which has a more aggressive cutaway, so I can reach even the highest frets. Which fret can you still reach without having to perform acrobatic contortions? Regarding the sound here, I think the reverb used sounds cheap to me, which really muddles your wonderful playing. Overall, I prefer the Takamine. The Aranjuez only has 19 frets, right?
@yetanothersuperstrat4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I use higher frets quite rarely when I play acoustic. Maybe 17th fret on the 1st string occasionally. I believe that both of those two guitars on the comparison are very similar what comes to the reach. And both has 24 frets, but only for 1st and 2nd strings. Many of my arrangements I put a lot of effort to lower the key in order to play the song around 5th - 12th frets. Thanks for your remark about the reverb, I may have some kind of more is more issue with the reverb at the moment.

There is hardly any chorus on the audio track. However reverb plays big role. You can try this clip instead: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b5eUl6Wn3bavo30.html

Ok. On second viewing, I prefer the non Takamine. BUT it doesn’t sound like a true classical guitar. It’s just different.
