NSWER!!!! BTW we filmed reactions to Soñar AND Run for Roses as well! Since we filmed 3 NMIXX reactions from the same album, we asked our Star Idol Patrons/YT members to vote on which reaction they wanted us to release first, and DASH won the poll! Btw, the "Hey you Bastards, I'm still here" is a quote from the 1973 movie Papillon (staring Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman) where an innocent man is sent to Devil's Island, a secluded island prison, for murder. After many attempts he finally escapes on a small raft and at one point he screams out to the universe, "Hey you bastards, I'm still here!"

YES!! IT'S NMIXX TIME I always come back to DASH as the exact moment that NMIXX finally nailed the concept of "Mix Pop" that works for both close listeners and the general public. A really, REALLY well-produced song with great instrumentation, melodic progression, layering, vocals, everything really. I mean, of course it appeals to my tastes in jazz and funk with that bassline and those trumpets... And it doesn't abandon the switch-ups that made them famous! On the review side, this reaction has such a great balance of praise and constructive criticism, it all comes from a good place and each of the experts here each have something interesting to say. Truly excellent editing work as well!!

Absolutely agree. I think DASH is their best title tracks in terms of fitting the 'public music taste' while keeping their own color. Also, I think it's the best title track for showcasing how diverse the timbre of NMIXX's members are. Bae's part in the pre-chorus is just too good.

dash is really that mixx pop that is well executed and at the same time the general public will also like. if they continue giving this kind of surprises without getting lost throughout the song, it’s the end for me.

it’s funny because dash is my least favorite nmixx title track and i absolutely loved dice and o.o whereas everyone else seemed to hate those songs for the changeups being too jarring and unnatural

fortunately, it seems like the normal “maximalist” approach to production in kpop is coming back. Groups like ive, kiof, NMIXX, and especially aespa recently, are getting hits without having to join the minimalist/easy-listening type songs. As much as I love newjeans, the easy listening type songs they popularized made kpop worse in the recent years. + newjeans wouldn’t really be the “breath of fresh air” in kpop we all know and love if literally every single group out there sounds like them so i’m glad its over

I don't care how long I had to wait for this video because I can understand how much effort the editor must've put in to put this together S tier editing in every aspect. The informative parts, the funny parts, the cut ins, half cut ins, memes, everything But my favorite was the edit at 4:55 - 5:01 especially Kevin's face sticking on the wall in the background

dash has been well-received for good reason and i'm happy that the girls are getting recognition ❤ i reeeeaaally enjoyed this song bc of the groove, the choice of instrumentals, the vocals and more... but i also gotta agree that the middle section (bridge) isn't the best part about the song, or at least it isn't as memorable as some other bridges in other nmixx songs. but it's definitely exciting to see what nmixx's team will do in the future! 🎉🎉 thank you for filming and editing all this musician goodness!

popping back here once in a while to once again give a shoutout to the editor(s)!! as a casual viewer of RTK for what have been so long now it's so wonderful to see the growth of the videos in terms of their editing and informative format --- I happen to be a musician as well (former classical pianist) but I still got to learn sooo many new things through these reactions videos, so thanks once again for the incredible work! not only the editor, but of course also to the reactor cast for pointing out things and demonstrating (always love it every time Sean or other casts plays the chords on piano, or sing the parts/things they mean as example, etc), you guys truly are the best!!
