pentagon’s vocal colors are so distinct and the range between their vocalists is insane 😔 even without jinho and hui, hongseok, changgu, yanan, shinwon, and hyunggu all have such unique and pretty vocals ^^ and of course yuto and wooseok make every ptg song sound like ptg

I love hearing the comment that all their voices sound really different but work well together. I hear it a lot, and it's so true! That's one of the things I love most about Pentagon, is even though they have nine members, each member has a very specific niche color/skill they can contribute. It makes their music super exciting to listen to. It's true of their composers as well- Hui, Kino, YeoOne, Jinho, Wooseok and Yuto (haven't heard enough Shinwon solo work to judge him) all have very different composing styles, but when they do collaborations it's always *chefs kiss* Anyway, thank you for reacting to this! Great as always!

1st Pentagon comeback I witnessed was Humph! (since I got into kpop), and until then I was a pretty much gg stan only. But I got so hooked on Humph that I just had to check their discography, and man when I found out that one song you always heared on variety at the time (Shine) was from Pentagon, I lost it. Ah no wait, when I found out Shine had 0 wins I lost it. Ah no wait when I found Pentagon had ZERO wins I lost it. They became the first bg I really appreciate and my god their last stage with Jinho last year got me into tears. Never thought a bg could make my eyes sweat like that. After Pentagon, other bg's like Stray Kids, Ateez and OneUs followed, but Pentagon will forever be legendary for me.

To those who don't know, the guy who sang the very high adlibs is Jinho, who is the main vocalist. He's really an amazing singer and I think more people should know about him. He has a very clean, clear, and wide range voice. He used to be an SM trainee and trained along Super Junior's Kyuhyun. Once he left, he was planning to be a vocal teacher but ended up signing with CUBE and debuting with PENTAGON. A true gem!

thank you for this! I loved the Pentagon edits in between and it was so interesting to see the very different reactions to the song! What I keep noticing with Pentagon's songs is that people either vibe with them or not, but even if it's not right up their alley, they always notice and appreciate the quality of the song. I really believe they don't have a single bad song, only some that take a little more time or the right mood to get into :) Ju Young being in love with Hui is the cutest thing haha, she's on her way to become a Universe! Did you tell her that almost all of them are composers? Also it makes me really happy to see Hui and Jinho getting appreciation for the e vowel! All of them are so incredibly talented!
