It's so weird how they were saying the songs were average because they were considered so different and unique when they were released! Infinite has always been known for making songs that weren't "typical idol music." It just makes me think about how much kpop is evolving and changing. Things that were so rare back then are just typical now. I wonder if The Eye will still be so unique years from now

Jinah Im This. Be mine is such an important and iconic song in kpop because there was NOTHING else like it being released at the time and it was a completely different sound. And it was from such a small group too no one even knew who they were. It was weird to see them fly up the charts with this type of song. It was something you had to be there to experience.

Jinah Im yeah the eye is definitely unique for its time. Infinite's music is always unique for its time when released. When I first heard the eye it was unlike any other song I'd ever heard. Totally different. It stood out so much compared to anything else released in 2016. It blew my mind quite frankly and it made me so happy because it's been so long since a kpop song has made me feel that way. As of now, I can't imagine how any other group would release something that sounds even remotely like the eye because I feel like that it's something only infinite could release. It's really it's own thing. I feel like the eye is Infinite's sound at its peak. I don't know how on earth infinite are going to follow up after that but at this point we might as well say that Infinite's music is a totally different genre of music because no other sounds like them.

I was so surprised to hear them call the songs average too >< they were so drastically different at the time of their release. Be Mine was one of the biggest hits and shockers of 2011.

infinite is totally different from any groups out there bcs of their most songs aren't typical kinda like nowadays kpop songs. apart from their talents this is why infinite is the only group i stan. only. their reactions aren't boring, i like their reactions, but i kinda shocked when they said they weren't blown away by the song and vocal, i mean it's infinite we're talking! but it's fine, why not show their live performance? :)

I'm kinda sad that they don't really like Infinite they're my fave group but it's ok just like they (the reactors) find every song so average wich is funny bc theses song were really unique and mind blowing when they first realised, anyways.... I hope you can show them B1A4 or FTIsland, I love your videos.

They're reacting based on a knowledge of Western pop and classical music. K-pop reflects trends in Western pop, not the other way around, and classical music is generally more complex and less predictable than pop. If having K-pop songs you like evaluated as average is hurtful, this may not be the best reaction channel for you.

lol I've been watching all the videos of theses series and the channel is my favorite reaction channel. They obviously know about music more than me, I wasn't complaining, me as an inspirit I'd love the fact that they actually like Infinite music, that's not the case and there's nothing wrong with that I was pointing out how the songs were unique when were realeased because they were and they probably didn't know that. Overall I love this channel.

I kinda almost wish you had reversed it and showed them Last Romeo's dance practice, if only because my friend totally blew my mind when she pointed out that Woohyun did the entire dance with one hand in his pocket and you don't even notice because they're so synchronized. It's seriously incredible, I wish Infinite had a bigger presence in the current k-pop scene. They're so freaking talented. Great video nonetheless!

Also I would really love if you showed one of their live performance at some point! I think Infinite really shines in live performances, because they have really solid and clean live vocals despite their outrageous choreography. But that's just my humble request :)) (I would also actually cry if you show Sunggyu or Woohyun's solo/duet stages, but I'm super vocal line biased lol)

INFINITE has a MASSIVE presence in kpop and are a big part of the reason a lot of groups are the way they are today. The only place they don't have a large presence is among western fans who tend to like hit hop songs and hard beat drops.

Umu, idk if you told the reactors when the songs they're reacting to are released, but I think in the future you definitely should! I know for Infinite especially, many of their songs were very shocking and different from most kpop idol music released during that time, but compared to the (kinda oversaturated) and constantly changing kpop world today it doesn't seem like anything special.

Sunggyu's solos !! And MR REMOVEDS !! For Woohyun, he only has one solo... You should also show them the live performances of INFINITE, the slower ones show off their vocals while the more fast paced ones show their mesmerising dance moves & synchronisation.

I appreciate what you are doing with this series! It's extremely fun to see people reacting for the first time to music i already love and some that I haven't heard before. I also love the fact that they react to the structure of the song and the vocal in the song. It's different when you hear it from the perspective of a musician, very insightful and unique! Love it

Great video! And, oh, you should definitely check out Infinite Woohyun's Last Promise in Immortal Songs 2, it's godly. It currently is the performance that has the highest score achieved by an idol in IS2. Greatly recommended.

do you ever tell them if the song you are showing is old or new? or if it's one of the first few song of a group or a more recent song? cuz those things definitely affect the quality or type of music a group produces :)
