I think has something to do with the over use of the lyrics "He's a really bad boy", and also the fact that they released it 1 month after Holloween. And mayble because the way they choose the title is kind of lazy. (Don't worry, I'm a reveluv, I'm just thinking outside the box and try to justify others' opinion)

LSP_ 1308 I hated it first because I thought it had no wit at all, like the chorus was so simple... but as I listened to it, with the time, I started to think it's really cool the way they play with their voices and the rhythm is soooo nice and groovy lol I love it now

wendy said so herself that this was the hardest song they have recorded and that after the recording, her throat was in pain... you can definitely hear why but a lot of people brand rbb as rv's worst song like,,, your preference sure but if you look at rbb in a musical lens one can't deny the quality and excellence of it

Yeah, vocal wise it is a hard song to sing. There are a lot of rifts and a very high pitch in the song example is the scream part and what Wendy did in 3:57 and 3:59, the chorus was hard too but they did slay the song still. I didn't like this song at first though but I appreciated this more now that they made this reaction.

RV doesn't really have any weak links vocally. Yeri and Irene are both very good at harmonizing, and their singing often works as a great contrast to the rest of the group's singing.

The "aye-yeah eh-yeah eh-yeahs" and "ah ah ah ah ha ha huhs" were done by Seulgi. *yeah, she's good* She did amazing on those parts, but I'm sad she never sang those live, obviously because they're hard to sing and they're HARDER to sing while dancing. And Irene did the screaming, our main vocalist. Lmao, kidding. And yeah, Wendy is freaking amazing in this song. The best female vocalist of this generation's K-Pop.

@@devakibhagwat6146 uhm, nope. The first *eh-yeah-yeahs* before the *ah ah ahs* came in the first chorus were done by Wendy, but the rest were by Seulgi. I've seen a lot of Wendy stans saying that all *eh yeah yeahs* were done by Wendy, but no, that's definitely not her voice. I know how Seulgi's voice sounds like, the same thing for Wendy.

i think its Wendy's a yeah yeah although wenseul sound pretty similar! I did think it was seulgi at first but what makes it recognizable that its wendy is because the ending of the ayeah yeah where she slowly tone the note down, I immediately recognize Wendy's voice color! Our girls are definitely amazing singers and they shine their own ways!

RBB serves some of the best Kpop vocals, instrumentality and musicality of all time. Point. Blank. Period. If RBB had its male counterpart it would be EXO's Tempo. RBB's written so creatively and the percussion line is so intricate and interesting. While lyrically simple, it's vocally AND RHYTHMICALLY really, REALLY challenging, powerful and deeply groovy.

Wendy is indeed the best female vocalist of 3rd gen girlgroup. As a group mamamoo is the best vocally but considering dance is a talent too, red velvet is better for me since mamamoo is not really dancing, not as much and as hard as most group anyway.

I love how RBB is the hated RV song of many because of how "messy and repetitive" it is but for critics and classical musician, they loved it. Even for some that says "there's too much screaming" ,critics is saying "it is skillfully-produced note,not screaming". It really takes a skillful musician to say RBB is a good song.

Those who said RBB was a flop are the flops themselves. Red Velvet is the best girl group among the big 3 companies. Seriously. They are fearless of changing concepts. That's what makes them interesting every time. Twice being cute is great and all but the more they keep being cute, they start to stagnate which is why they gradually are changing into sexy hence 'Fancy' was born. Blackpink started as balladic and mellow on their debut song but after that, everything was just bad girl hiphop bop. Honestly, BP's best comeback is probably As if it's your last. Their better songs are actually not even the title tracks. Red Velvet slays every track no matter. It's pretty bad though that they don't receive good attention. Also SM is badly promoting them. They were one of the pioneer 3rd Gen girl groups and the successors of SNSD and F(x). They deserved better.

Agree. RV is just superior. They are my fave among the Big 3 3rd gen gg. However for me, Twice is kinda fine as I like some of their songs. And I think their concept is normal for Kpop (cute transitioning to sexy). Meanwhile, BP is the one stagnating, seriously. I guess YG fears taking a risk to experiment in BP's sound.

Finally rbb gets the appreciation it deserves. Really I can't understand people who said it's shitty song while it blew my mind once I listened to it. I just was so impressed and proud of the girls taking their vocals to a totally different level. Every part of the song is a challenge. P. S Joy's part is my favorite too

I can not believe that people prefers Power Up more than RBB. The other one it's really basic compare to this one. I love RV but I didn't like Power Up at all and I was so mad because people bash them for RBB, this was amazing. Thank you for saying, those people can't recognize art when they hear it.

DearInsanityx I agree! With Power Up I think they focused more on creating a catchy hook (the banana part) and it's great when I first heard it from the teaser, but the rest of the song is bland. It's lacking something. I can't bop to it so I don't listen to it much.

They dont care about the MV (but one of them said it was Unique), They only appreciate their Vocals, their funky instrument, WHAT AN INTELLECTUAL. When Knetz only blamed the clothes, concepts, and Irene’s scream (actually a HIGH NOTE) that were strange and unfamiliar in their eyes and music taste. And honestly Knetz's music taste were pretty boring and monotonous. Criticust is the best judges for RV, their Daesangs said that. Thank you classical musician. So stand versatile, stand Red Velvet guys *sorry for my bad english

I'm really glad that both RV's daesangs were 100% from critiques and not from votes, sales and views. One day, I hope contemporary music lessons will be based with RV's music since their discography is so unique.

이거 나왔을 때 주변에서 찾을 수 있는 반응이랑 많이 다르다.. 대부분 비명소리 거슬린다는 얘기 되게 많았고. 그리고 레드벨벳의 보컬 실력을 알아채고 얘기하는 사람은 많이 없었는데 그런 부분 알아줘서 반가웠다. 불협화음의 비명이 아니어서 난 좋았는데 싫다는 반응이 많아서 아쉬웠는데 ㅜㅜ 레드벨벳 스타일 알것 같다는 사람들 반갑다 ㅎㅎㅎ

I fuckin love RBB era. The style and makeup was top notch. All of their visuals popped out. Vocals and song was incredible. MV set design and lighting was amazing. And that purple background?! So sad this didn't get the much deserved love. The variety and the delivery of this group every new comeback is amazing and unlike any other 💗

Watching your videos made me more aware of the music production of the songs rather than the idols themselves.
