It made me so proud when they complimented Eunhyuk, Heechul and Shindong. I love Suju, they are amazing. The funniest group ever, besides their vocal line (KRY) is one of the most recognize and appreciated but people often forget that they have talented rappers too. New kpop listener tend to forget 2nd gen idol like Suju and somehow it makes me sad, so thank you for your reaction !

@@ParkAngel26 they have the right to 'appreciate' whoever they want tbh. This is after all, their own channel. If they dont find SuJu interesting musically, so what? Not that it matters to SuJu, or to their fans (or me) considering that SuJu will continue making money regardless. I do found the SuJu reactions posted in this channel informative tho.

I'm not sure they understood the satire (of Nuksal, Killagramz and Go Jang Hwan - only 2 of the 3 rappers were present) - but so glad they appreciated the actual song (which I think a lot of listeners didn't really pay attention to originally because the mv was so funny).

What a delightful surprise that you chose to give some love to this underrated gem from Dec '17. When it was released all anyone talked about was the lyrics and the satire and that was part of the brilliance but I still listen to this song regularly just as music. It rocks, it's catchy as hell and I love the creativity and sense of humor of the wild mashup between the great rap sections and Solar's insane vocals. Isaac nailed what Solar was doing that was so thrilling - what struck me at the time was hearing what I thought were new colors and technical proficiency in her singing. Charm of Life came out the month before Mamamoo released Paint Me and it gave a hint of Solar's part in the vocal masterpiece she & the girls were about unveil.

Love how they said suju is Anti kpop like yeah no one sounds like them 🤣 and they dont really take themselves seriously, they just have fun. And every suju song is a bop. Hope youll react to evanesce, this is love, one more chance.

It is interesting to hear this analysis, completely out of the context of the song (the parody of the rappers and all that). TBH because I knew the context from the beginning, I never really paid much attention to the song itself, as a 'stand alone' as the guys said, and hearing opinions like that made me actually appreciate the song more. And as one of them said. The fact that Super Junior don't take themselves too seriously is their ultimate charm

Songs they don’t react to usually end up not having a very intricate beat or anything super original they can actually comment on. The song could be great, but if they can’t get content out of it then it usually won’t be reached to.

In fact, charm of life was written by Heechul, Shindong and Eunhyuk as criticism of the super junior haters and Korean yellow media. It would have been interesting to see them with subtitles to better understand the song, but thanks for your feedback💙

omg i just found out yall reacted to this ABOSLUTE GEM!!! I had this song on repeat (#ELF) when it came out, and wanted more ppl to listen to it bc its so creative, funny, and perfectly in the pocket!!! Its also a song that has (as other comments has said) cultural and lyrical layers, which I hope viewers can get, look up smtm to check it out. And honestly heechul is underused - hes so talented at performing musically (see hanryang) but ppl forget bc hes so well known for variety and crazy wit lol. 6:19 yes henry that self awareness --i think SJ just does poking-fun-at-self and being memes so well bc their group vibe is exactly self aware enough to flip their own character

Such overlooked gem. Im so happy you complimented their rapping. They can all rap but the guy with red hat do the most rapping in sj songs, the other two dont have much lines at all for diff reasons. This song is almost the only piece where they get to showcase their rapping skill, which is impressive like u have commented on ♡
