I will be releasing this series once a week, every Monday. Sometimes twice a week....maybe. It'll be a surprise ;)
**Part 2's of groups won't come out until I have shown them Part 1 of the groups I want them to get into**
Thank you to everyone who is commenting with suggestions. The more requests I get for a group, the higher up on my to-watch list they will become.
HOWEVER, if it's a recent song (like Blood, Sweat & Tears, or Decalcomanie, or Fantasy, those won't be shown until they've watched the groups' older songs, so they can see them grow musically!)
*DISCLAIMER: None of us are PROFESSIONAL musicians. So if you come here for a strict breakdown/analysis of the music, you won’t be getting that.This is strictly my conservatory musician friends taking time in their schedule to watch kpop for fun, and throw in any musical comments that come into their mind! So hopefully you’ll enjoy their very entertaining reactions :)

I knew they were going to like VIXX. Musicians usually like their songs bc they are really well produced and their voices are really good. I think you should make them react to SHINee next! My friends and i are all classical musicians and we love them. Please try it!

I wish VIXX went back to having such a dark concept. This song is what made me like VIXX. But I guess there is only so much they can do without repeating themselves. That's the problem with VIXX people like it when they do dark, but they can't continue doing that.

Seems like kpop bands always have to show off how versatile they're style is... which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it just sucks that there are no groups that do consistently dark stuff. Western bands with dark themes get away with doing only those concepts - and it's pretty much expected. It seems that an overwhelming amount of starlights prefer the dark themes, but maybe they're trying to appeal to more mainstream stuff?

Because of a webtoon, I watched voodoo doll. It' my first ever kpop mv that I watched. It successfully convert me into a starlight. Not a single regret was given..

Voodoo Doll is my favorite song ever and I have lots of feelings about it, so seeing people actually appreciating the music and creativity of the track (instead of just commenting on how weird and scary the video is, like every reactor ever) was really heartwarming and made me incredibly happy, so thank you!

For a person who's watched tons of vixx reaction videos, this is a kind I've never seen. While watching a MV, your friends pick out major 3rd and minor 3rd chords from the song right away. A girl here understands the metaphor of the song Voodoo Doll even before going thru it. Also, your editing is really cool. I did enjoy this reaction video so much. Thank you. I'm already looking forward to the next part of VIXX. :)

haahhaah that's what I noticed if the videos are just a bit more normal they concentrate more on the song but once the video gets crazy or is somehow mind blowing they forget about analysing totally hahaha

Everyone loves VIXX. My boyfriend is a metal drumhead and he happened to watch the MV while I was watching it and he was amazed. We even had a VIXX MV marathon. They are amazing and their MVs are lit

can't wait to see them react to Error, I'm still not able to watch that M/V WITHOUT crying, without even knowing the translation of the lyrics I cried the first time seeing and hearing that track. Voodoo Doll though to this day is my favourite VIXX track, even just the instrumental is amazing. Hope you involve GOT7 in these reactions as I think over the years they've really grown and improved.

Along with Topp Dogg's 'Top Dog', you should also show their song 'Arario'. I'd be interested to know their opinion especially because of how the song incorporates traditional Korean instruments to create a hip hop based song.

These are the only reaction videos I'm actually enjoying to watch. Too often we need to hear from non-kpop fans that k-pop is not even real music so it's amazing and so entertaining to see how real musicians can enjoy these songs and appreciate how they are made. So refreshing! It's very interesting to hear what you think of the songs. I also love how much love you are giving to Ravi! I think he is really underrated as a rapper even here in Korea so it warms my heart so much to hear you enjoying his parts. Keep these coming!

I relate to that guy who was eating the whole time so much. When i first saw that i was just eating. It didn't effect my appetite at all. I really love that video. I think it is so fucking cool.

Holy SHIT you are doing such a good job with these reaction videos!! Like you've already planned out which groups you wanna show them and which order the MVs will be in (with logical reasoning too!! *cries*) THIS IS GREAT THANK YOU Also I love their insights -- like the switching from minor to major during the chorus for VIXX (and the puns afterwards haha), and the instant "Tchaikovsky???" in Henry's video, and the love for the Gregorian chanting for EXO, and just the /appreciation/ they have for MAMAMOO's skill/talent "It's modulation wtf WOW -- It didn't even cadence" (I had to do extended googling to work out what exactly that meant haha). I CAN'T FOR MORE BC THIS IS GREAT. INSTANT SUBSCRIBE!

You don't know how much this means to me. A few people have complained that these reactions weren't breaking down the technicalities of the music enough, or that I /should have/ done this, should be doing that (i do regret showing certain videos first tho and am doing my best to not do that again), and in the end it makes me feel kinda sad and start worrying that this series isn't good enough or organized enough. I'm so sorry people are being entitled and demanding (and rude!) like that =( People on KZfaq are often super harsh and thoughtless so take what they say with a grain of salt... there's always going to be tons and tons of lurkers who love what you're doing already, so they won't say anything. Like seriously look at your likes ratio! (I mean I haven't even liked the other videos, I just blew through them in one shot and totally forgot... And actually if you hadn't replied to this and indirectly reminded me I would've forgotten to go back and do it. Okay doing it now brb) You really are doing a super good job, honestly these are some of the best edited reaction videos I've seen (...and I've seen waaaay too many OTL) and your love for actual Kpop and your care for what your friends are actually saying/doing is shining through. Keep it up! You have loads of invisible fans, I promise!
