My name is Josh. Subtitles:16 languages. I'm so glad I included the pre-performance Jesse J meeting. It was a touching moment. KZ made this her own. I love how she mixed it up and had the vocal effects, rapping and the jazzy/salsa feel all in one. Sorry, I forgot to do the Filipino "Hello, My Friends" phrase - next time. KZ is a unique and complete artist/performer. As you watch more of her many performances you will really come to appreciate her talents. As for trying to get a feel for her style, good luck. She's never the same from one performance to another, in looks, movements, vocals, etc. She will constantly amaze you. "Say Something", on this same competition, will show you what I mean.

I live in the Philippines and they really like the voices of the Divas like Miriah, Whitney, Celine and they do an excellent job singing those types of songs. At least where I am in the provinces they don't see value in other types of singing, maybe in Manila it is different, I am not sure. I love jazz and different types of music I get a little tired of all the Divas. It would be ok if they tried to make the song more their own and change it up but they want it exactly like the original and like said they can do it, I would rather see the artistry that KZ brings to it, she is wonderful.

I think KZ is one of the best singers in the world. She may not have the diva vocal range but she's always interesting and entertaining, I think KZ had some of the feelings you mentioned early on. At her X Factor Philippines audition she talked about wanting to show that music wasn't just for "the beautiful and the fair skinned". It was crazy because her stage presence and vocal skills were off the charts even then. She's gorgeous and just needed some makeup and fashion tips. The famous singers doing the judging were impressed to the point that they were arguing about which supporting roles they wanted at KZ's concert, which kind of overwhelmed KZ a bit.

@@lynettepascua4730 KZ was on the X Factor Philippines from June-October 2012. That was the only season for that version of the show. The judges were Charice/Jake Zyrus, Gary Valenciano, Pilita Corrales, and Martin Nievera.

Very nice reaction to KZ Tandingan. If you want to see her vocal agility, then I would strongly suggest that you watch her perform “I’m Feeling Good” with another excellent Filipino artist, Jaya. This is actually my favourite video in KZfaq which would pick me up every time I watch it. Hope I will see you react to it too.

Besides the other songs people have already recommended from Singer 2018, there's another one from that show in Chinese called "The Hurts You Never Knew". If you look at that one, get the one that says English Translation. Another song is a duet with Jaya on the song "Feeling Good".

vocal effects used initially is really to represent a psych effect,, just imagine a person betrayed in love... so that stage would represent somebody in denial,,,, most likely had alcohol or some other substance.... in despair..... when everything cleared denial is gone ,,, then anger sets in

If I don't read it it won't get added to my subtitles and then I have to manually type them in so that others can benefit from the translation into other languages. Unfortunately, the KZfaq mechanism doesn't consistently pick up the dialogue from the video, even if it's in English. Thanks for your patience. The foreign speakers appreciate it.

It’s so that the English words make it into auto-generated KZfaq subtitles and get translated for those that don’t speak English.

I read them for the non-English speaking viewers so that KZfaq adds them to my subtitles and then they get translated to the other languages. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
