My name is Josh. Subtitles:16 languages. This was an amazing collaboration with a very talented United States Air Force group. I was shocked by how well Lee still sings and has great instincts about adding to the power of an already powerful song. I can't wait to continue my Home Free journey. I think Lee Greenwood sounds great, then add the fact that he was 77 at the time of this recording...I have loved this song since it came out and it never fails to make my great swell with American pride and I have no shame in admitting that it brings me to tears every time. God Bless The USA! ❤🙏

Josh, that is the quality you get with Home Free ! Lee also said he felt free-er than he ever had to adlib in the song & his natural instinct was ON POINT. Yes this was filmed in very late June while everyone was still in quarantine. Their editor/arranger for Home Free I think is Darren Ruste someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Josh *PLEASE* react next to Home Free singing a cover of Helplessly Hoping....it's Home Free's best artistic work, and I think you'll enjoy it a lot.

I've listened to this version many times. And each one gives me chills. I have loved this song since the first time I heard it. I was blessed to see Lee Greenwood sing it live at his theater in Tennessee.

Thanks for the reaction. This was put together by Home Free's incredible arranger producer Darren Rust. There is a behind-the-scenes (Home Free - Making of God Bless the USA...) that shows how it all happened. Even Lee said Darren brought out things with the arrangement Lee didn't know he could do. He really enjoyed this newer updated version. And with the Army, it was just wonderful. Take care.

It's a wonderful combination and I agree that the editing is just awesome. I seem to recall that there was a behind the scenes for this and in it Lee said that he doesn't have the breath capacity that he used to and they had to adjust some things for that. He did wonderfully! I love how Home Free showcases others too.

This was an awesome collab. It's already been mentioned, but I'll 2nd it... You should check out Peter Hollens' U2 cover of "Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" ft Home Free. They meshed 350 voices of both, Peter and HF's (patreon) fans from all over the world for a virtual choir!! Can you imagine? It's incredible!!

First, please thank your brother for me for his service! I love this collaboration! The idea was actually from Tim and a friend of his in the US Air Force to hopefully get Lee to agree to it! Fortunately, for everyone, he did! This makes me feel so proud to be an American and proud of our country, even though things are in turmoil right now. I get chills in different parts of the song. I loved your reaction and I enjoyed your commentary and input. Also, I hope you ignored that rude person in the comments. He obviously woke up in the wrong side of the bed this morning. Thank you for what you do!

I agree with everything you said, especially with Lee. I was so impressed with his vocal talent but mostly with the amount of passion he had. You could really hear it in his voice & feel it. Of course Adam was amazing as always. Thanks for the video!

This collaboration was magical. A legend: Lee Greenwood. Legends in the making: Home Free. and our Blessed Service People. Everything was on point. Everything. It gives chills every time.. Home Free does nothing by half measures. They go all in every time they create their music. I respect their work ethic, and how when they have featured artists, they don't try to hog the limelight. They allow their guests to shine. And Lee does sound wonderful. Your wife must be very proud of herself and her student. Awesome. Thank you for your reaction. I love the jet fly over sound Adam does at the end.

I used to sing in a female (barbershop quartet style) group here in Fla called The Hearts Of Daytona ! Quite a large group! We sang at events, nursing homes etc

You might also want to watch the duet of Austin Brown & Rob Lundquist "Two Country Singers Try Singing Opera" - you will definitely be surprised. Home Free's rendition of "When a Man Loves a Woman" and Tim Foust's original "Snow Globe" will amaze you.. There are tons of Home Free videos and live performances - a couple that really will blow your mind are "Mayday (Live)" and "9-5 beatboxing breakdown" - they alll beatbox.

This popped back up in my feed today. So I figured I'd post again. HF covered American Pie, with Don McLean, for the 50th anniversary of the song. He sounds incredible for his age, also. I'd love to see your take on it.

I'm not sure why you are so surprised at Lee's singing ability. I have been singing classical all my life - since my first voice lessons at about 12. I'm now 62, and my voice is as strong, as controlled, and as good as it always was. (I'm a first soprano and still can sing those notes, when warmed up!) I will say though, that I can't do well without a good warm-up now, and have to be more careful not to strain it with cold, sugar, or whatever. But if you keep exercising that muscle every day - EVERY DAY - you really have no reason to worry about losing it. I know classical singers who are great into their 70s and older.

I am sure you have seen or been told of Peter Hollins with Home Free cover of U2 with a virtual choir with over 350 submissions just think what the engineer had to go through to put that together. It was awesome.

Of you'd like to see another collaboration look for Peter Hollens, featuring Home Free U Two song Still haven't found what I'm looking for. What you need to understand is that usually if you don’t stop the video at all during your reaction the whole thing will be blocked and there’s a chance of getting what’s called a copyright strike. 3 of those and your whole channel is deleted from KZfaq.
