Classicool is a fusion band led by Purbayan Chatterjee, known for their innovative blend of classical and contemporary music styles. He has used his Transparent see through electric sitar. He calls it "See-tar". The band consists of talented musicians like Ojas Adhiya on Tabla Sangeet Haldipur on Keyboard, Shikharnaad Qureshi on drums, Nastya Saraswati on violin, and Megha Rawoot on sitar.
Their mesmerizing composition "Kalyani" showcases their brilliance in blending traditional raga Yaman which is also called as Lydian mode in western music with modern elements in a rhythmic cycle of 8 beats.
