Extremely underrated. I think he didn't get his respect because he was too versatile and they never really found him a set position in Juve/Italy. What a pleasure to watch, though!

I Hate these videos that don't show the ball's disengagement of the player after a trick/dribbling or similar. The choice of pass after the dribble is crucial to understand the intelligence of the player, and Marchisio was a very clever midfielder so this video belittle him in a way...

I think he was played out of position. He should have played higher on the midfield in a more attacking role because of his close control and ability to get out of tight spaces.

Allegri wierdly played Vidal CAM and Marchisio CM with Pirlo and Pogba. It should have been the other way around
