They do a lot of harmonic mixing.. keeping to keys, working in 5ths/relative minors and like sounds to have silk smooth transitions, which sadly a lot of DJ's don't do. It's not all that hard to do, just takes some prep work but when done right it's orgasmic to the ears. Needless to say, these guys did their homework.
