Ever since I first heard the song (and saw this performance here) I was instantly in love :) France Gall has always been, even decades after this performance here, a wonderful and unique woman. Her later "Ella Elle L'a", for example, is just as unforgettable and was a huge hit. About this song: simply wonderful. I can listen to the song a thousand times and it never gets boring. And how the beautiful France Gall sang here as French in German, just timelessly great. In the end she "only" took 3rd place at this festival, but in my opinion she should have won without a doubt. And a funny fact: Years later, the composer, Christian Bruhn, delivered the soundtrack for the anime series "Captain Future", which is also legendary to this day. Just a small cog from the countless other hits and cult songs he has delivered.

Superbe France comme toujours ... avec en prime cette petite touche d'ingénuité et de malice qui faisait son charme ! A noter aussi : ce tempo endiablé rythmé par un orchestre allemand de grande classe !!!! et un public sur son 31 ce qui nous change du débraillé des années 2000 ! @@GVRCLaTeX I believe there was an episode of _The Lucy Show_ in the late Sixties which dealt with computer dating. There was an episode of _The Six Million Dollar Man_ in the Seventies which featured computer dating.

La magie d'internet... né en 63, ma tante avait acheté début des années 70 un 33t de "schlager" allemands avec notamment ce tube. J'ignorais qui le chantait et j'aimais vraiment bien. 40ans après, j'ai enfin la réponse à ma question. Merci Claudus.

Grandi avec "Ella elle l´a" je ne savais pas qu´elle a été déjà active avec succès ici en allemand il y beaucoup des ans plus tôt. J´aime ce beat des années 60 et j´apprecie aussi les vieilles chansons francais. J`éspère qu´elle aura eu un bon temps dans notre país mȇme si elle disait une fois que ce n´était pas le temps plus beau de sa vie, helás. @kirtaep She a little spoke German and she understood it very well. She had studied it to the high school, and the signature of her contract of 5 years at Decca in 1968, obliged her during this 5 years numerous activities and frequent stays in Germany. She learnt her text in German, as a text in french, her knew what the words meant, she did not sing in phonetics as for Japanese.

Der Song ist eine einigermaßen prophetische Vorausschau auf Online-Partnerbörsen und sog. Dating-Portale. Witzig ist die Abwehrgestik der Gall bei den Begriffen Technik und Wissenschaft. Sie scheint nicht ganz daran zu glauben, was sie singt. Durchaus zu Recht. :-)

I hardly think this is yé-yé though. Perhaps you're talking of schlager's influence; France Gall was yé-yé with her French (and sometimes Italian) stuff, but her German songs which weren't translations of her French songs were definitely schlager.
