Watching those weak claws drop prizes is infuriating

These little claw machines with fixed pay out rates are always so annoying to see. Regardless of skill it will always drop the prize unless it has hit payout. That is a true shame.

Any recommendation for good crane arcades near Shin-Yokohama? I travel there for work. My take: Shin-Yokohama Train Station: Amusement Park, The Earth: Machines set too hard. Narrow gaps, weak claws, etc. General Yokohama: 3rd planet - Northport Mall: Great selection, claw strengths reasonable, gaps a little small last time I went. Does have green corner light for clerk for help. Near Yokohama station: Namco: Too small, mostly mini-cranes Taito: On hard side (not as bad as The Earth) Round One: On hard side but good selection Akihibara: All -Small gaps, variable arm strength, too many 200 Yen

I dislike the mini claws because there is so little room to maneuver and I almost always have to wait for payout. But sensei found a way to make even this entertaining.

Location?

It's so irritating to watch these claws obviously grab the prize & then blatantly "drop" it. That shouldn't be allowed to work like that.
