What was surprising about burnout for me is how it creeps up on you rather than feeling like a shocking crash. As you mentioned, I didn't even knew I was burnout. I said things like "I love what I do, there's no way I can be burnout". But I didn't realise how I've just been dragging myself day by day, and the work I do didn't feel as fulfilling anymore. Then getting upset at myself for not being as productive and efficient as I wanted to be. I can't say I've "recovered" from burnout yet, but something that helped me regain the joy in my craft is changing up my routine, scheduling time to meet with my close friends and accepting that I must make time to relax. Proper rest time should be non-negotiable in our daily life (doom scrolling does not count as rest!). Regarding loneliness, I don't feel that so much anymore thanks to your videos! To know I have you to look up to, who is ahead on a similar journey running a creative handmade business. Thank you for paving the way and being such an inspiration. I always feel invigorated to see your progress and it makes want to strive to be better.

Congrats on this new format. 🎉 Loneliness is hard. We all need connections, I can attest to feeling lonely in a room full of people. I now have ways of putting shy me more out there through my art and each day is another step forward to making improvements. I think it’s safe within your developed community. We get your uncomfy side and that openness you show makes it easier for us all to grow. To support and celebrate and be supported all at once. 🐨🌸👏🏼 Both our daughters have had no boundaries, from us as parents, for career and both are thriving because they have learnt what they need to do what they want. We guide and support them when they want, not to control their outcomes.

I have been making clay charms since I was 10 years old I have never had the courage to sell or even post them anywhere I thought no one cares and it is going no where I told myself just forget it and focus on school but you have inspired me to just go for it and start making charms again and maybe selling I have brought all the stuff I need I have set an insta account and I think I am gonna take the step I am still scared but every video I watch of yours gives me the courage and hope to just go for it ,I don’t think you understand how much you have opened my eyes to just give the thing I love a chance and I am thankful :)❤️ Side note I study medicine and I love talking about mental health and I love this video and thank you for just doing the most with the stigma it has and making it a safe space to just be

I really enjoyed this video and can't wait to see more of the series. I can really relate to loneliness in the sense that it's hard to find other people to relate to when running a small business and working from home, I've been searching for a community that understands that, and you definitely help with that and keep me inspired! Honestly, I'm having so much fun with my new business though! My mood can really fluctuate throughout the day but it helps to be aware of that part of my personality and to allow it to happen instead of trying to force myself to feel a certain way. Also, your camera setup and shots are so nice and easy to see everything, definitely gave me some good ideas! Thanks as always! ☺

Every time I watch your videos, you inspire me more and more to pursue my artistic side and make it my main income. I currently have a small business but am currently on a break for many reasons but mainly because once I started polymer clay I saw so much potential!! It’s amazing what clay can do and what we can create. Thank you for creating a safe space for people like me who are scared to take a leap of faith (even just a small one) 💗

The burnout talk really hits hard. I'm autistic and I'm _constantly_ on the brink of burnout or actively dealing with it. It's unfortunately getting harder to avoid and more frequent as I age. I wish I was able to deal with it better...haven't really figured it out over the last 20 years. The best I can do is reduce stressors as much as possible and be reminded by others, like yourself, that it's ok to not feel 100% and it's ok to have days where your main accomplishment is as simple as feeding yourself. For some reason I forget that all of the time and put too much pressure on myself. Anyway, I'll stop there before this becomes a TED Talk lol. Thanks for sharing and I'm glad you're feeling better :) As always, your vids and art inspire me to work on my own art and I appreciate that :)))

I think there's comfort in finding out that all of it is just 'normal' and it's the natural path of figuring things out, I think you might be my first comf(y)ort creator Tammy! Keep creating! 😊💕💕💫

Maybe Better Help is okay for people not going through a lot, but the reviews for Betters Help are horrendous. Search for some of the videos by other therapist as well as costumers. It's awful. Ive used better help myself and someone telling you "that must have been hard" every 5 days with late replies, is not therapy and is not helpful.
