A flathead is one of a number of small to medium fish species with notably flat heads, distributed in membership across various genera of the family Platycephalidae. It is a very popular and versatile fish, suited to most cooking methods. A very popular fish for battering and deep frying. Whole fish can be roasted or bbq’d, while fillets can be marinated, poached, steamed,grilled or fried.

@@Phalanx6433I can't remember why I asked ... But for fish to be kosher it has to have fins and scales.. bottom feeders are considered dirty fish...

I always catch this fish, never found the proper way to cock it. It is very dry I did not enjoy it. Will try ur way
