if i ever buy markers i will probs go for pastels as base layer to cover the paper than do coloured pencils on top. i wouldnt enjoy just markers. So its good to know differences. So glad you are on here. I have two favorite people i watch for reviews you are one of them

Not the toddler marker smash! LOL 😆 I absolutely LOVE the flower you did with all of the colors! That’s beautiful! I don’t have any of this brand so I’m sitting here like this 🫣 I’ve always felt that the lighter/pastel colors are so important, even with Copic. I’m a light to dark to light colorist. For my color swatches, each brand has its own sheet, but i created a binder with a color family on each page. So, every red from every company I have are all on one page. It makes it so much easier for me to select colors since I have so many brands. TFS!

Hullo Lindsay, These are very nice markers, but I think if I invest in a new brand of markers in the future I will go with Ohuhu The newer Honolulu brush tip nibs look quite nice! and very affordable too! The non brush tip markers are a ridiculously priced as well dropping very fast as it seems everyone wants the brush nib! I also like the option to get the brush with the chisel or fine point tip! Wonderful review Lindsay, you certainly have a true knack for this! Please take care and be safe out there!

Hi Lindsay! I just bought these, because of this wonderful, thorough review. You always show us how to use the products you review, which is such a wonderful, giving gift. Your artwork with this set was, as always, extraordinary. Do you have a video on how you did the crystal? I would love to see it. Thank you for all the extra tips that you are always so generous in giving, especially with the colored pencils. I haven't had a chance to even swatch these yet, but the quality of the packing deserves a 5 rating all on its own. Three layers of different kinds of insulating packing material. I have never seen any protective packing anywhere near as dedicated as this! I noticed on your swatch sheet that #407, pale thistle, was x-ed out, but I can't remember why. Is the color not showing true? 182 and 183 had an arrow-ended line between them. I couldn't see well enough to tell if it was just a case of filling the colors in the wrong places, and they should simply be reversed, or if it was something else. I am really grateful for all your fact filled reviews and all the helpful tips on getting the most out of the product that you always give so generously. Thank you!!! Is there a particular paper or sketch book I should use with these markers when using pencils, too?

I've been eyeing some Arrtx Oros markers.. not that I need any more markers but they are just so pretty. They are my addiction like watercolor palettes are yours. Thanks for comparing them to the Ohuhu's as I do have those and its nice to know the differences and if I should/need to get them. Maybe in the future when they are on sale. How would you rate the smell vs Ohuhu vs Copic?
